Don't look down on yourself

in #writing6 years ago

People may see as a trash by trying to step on your toes with the aim that you won't able to do anything since they believe you are handicapped because of your confrontation, challenges and unpalatable that sug up. But it is best for you not to accept any doubt in you due to what others see or say about you. The only obstacle or greatest challenges a man can have is his own do imageubt, fea and his own conditional thoughts. image

Many factors contributing to one looking down on oneself.
institutions of knowledge: as a student, if you aren't doing well in your subjects, most especially having red in all subjects which is sign of failure, there is no doubt that your teachers will tag with different set of negativity's name, friends in school might find it difficult associating with you even your parents will call you all sort of names which will only make situations worsen. But all these is nothing as I believe that no matter what happens to you at this period doesn't dictate what you will become tomorrow unless you accept defeat by given in the cynical neighbours perception on you. What you have to do is believing in yourself because others really have no say in who you will become. There is this adage in my locality which says, they can help you get married but they can't help you feed your family. That's, people can say a lot of negative things about you but once refused to allow any doubt in your own mind then no doubt from others would ever cloud your judgement.

“You and you alone have the power to convince yourself to believe that you are inferior to others. Therefore, it's your sole responsibility to never look down on yourself. God definitely doesn't think that you are inferior or unimportant.”

Once you believe in you, you really don't need other people to believe in you because they really have little or no say in who you become in the future. Though, the going might not be that palatable as obstacle might set in. I remember when I was in university, having lost my parents, I had to work as a cleaner in an hospital, I realized that I find it difficult to make friends, mingle around, I thought to myself, I don't belong here until I graduated from university when I got to know that it doesn't matter what you are doing to making a living but what matter is you making a big difference in your life by creating a strong mind and refuse to allow others words or conditional judgment order your life by limiting your potential. imageimage

You have to remember that, no matter the situation of things right now, It will surely pass, and believe me when there is no enemy within the enemy outside can do you no harm. When you believe in you, you really don't need any other person to believe in you. No matter what you are doing once it feels good to you, pick moving. Those that have made it as those that people don't always agree with at the initial stages. Shakespeare in an example, majority of the inventors of the past are examples.

If you are doing what others are doing you might not make it more than them unless you improve what they are doing.
