Hi All,
Teams are in for Round 18 and given we are into the point end of the year now.
I hope the injury gods have been good to you.
St Kilda v Richmond
Two changes at the Saints for their big test against the top of the table Tigers.
Important Midfielder Seb Ross is over his bout of Gastro and back in the side.
Young up and coming Key Forward Josh Battle also returns from injury.
Webster is out again injured and is not having a good run of it of late.
Lonie is also out with injury.
For the Tigers Bachar Houli is again out with an injury concern and is struggling to get any continuity going this year.
Bolton and Corey Ellis have been omitted.
Broad is back early from that broken cheekbone and will fill Houli's spot at half back.
Menadue and Mcintosh are the other inclusions.
Collingwood v North Melbourne
The Pies get their big Forward Mason Cox back after he was a late withdrawal last week.
He is a big inclusion for the Pies and will be a headache in the air for the Kangaroos Defenders.
Running Defender Sam Murray is also back in the side after a stint in the VFL.
Out goes Crocker and Daicos who have been omitted.
No change for the Kangaroos as tagger Jacobs is still not over his lingering concussion issues.
Sydney v Gold Coast Suns
In a surprise Josh Kennedy has been named after looking certain to miss with that back issue suffered last week.
Only one change for the Swans in the end with Ruckman Darcy Cameron finally getting a go in the seniors after sustaining great VFL form all season.
Daniel Robinson has been dropped.
For the Suns they have suffered a couple of big outs with Swallow (managed) and Jack Martin injured.
Schoenfield has been omitted.
Kolodjashnij makes his long awaited return from injury and will add some bite and creativity to the Suns half back line.
Heron and Longergan have also been included.
Essendon v Fremantle
Two big ins for the Bombers with Fantasia and Zaharakis back from injury.
Not all good news as they lose running Defender Conor Mckenna who had been in good form Jake Long has been omitted.
The Dockers had a great win last week but are still without their stars Fyfe & Sandilands.
They have also lost Stephen Hill to injury again and Nyhuis has been suspended for that brutal tackle on Robbie Gray.
In comes Duman and Darcy Tucker.
Geelong v Melbourne
Lachie Henderson will finally play his first game of the season after recovering from injury and the Cats will be very relieved as they have been screaming out for a Key Defender.
Promising young on baller Cunico has also been included.
Out goes Simpson and Wiley Buzza who have been omitted.
The Demons have finally brought Dom Tyson back from his VFL exile and he is a perfect replacement for the injured Jack Viney.
Joel Smith is also back from injury and he will replace the injured Hibberd.
Brisbane v Adelaide
The Lions are flying at the moment and have made no change.
This means Hodge will get another week to rest his sore calf.
The Crows may of lost Tex Walker to suspension but have a great replacement in Mitch Mcgovern who has recovered from injury.
Important Key Defender Talia is also back and will replace Hartigan.
Carlton v Hawthorn
Into Sunday teams now so some extended benches.
The Blues are having the year from hell and desperate to turn around their horror form.
They could make up to 6 changes this week with Weitering, Casboult, Graham, Lebois. Lobbe and Wright all included.
Lobbe looks the most likely of those to make the final team as they will need him in the Ruck to replace the injured Kreuzer.
Jed Lamb is suspended and he is the only other confirmed out so far.
The Hawks have also flagged up to 6 changes this week after their horror performance in Launceston last week against the Lions.
Brand & Schoenmakers have not been seen at senior level for a while and they are a chance to play along with Worpel, Pittonet, Glass and former number 2 Draft Pick O'Rourke.
O'Brien (omitted) and Sicily (broken wrist) are the only confirmed outs at this stage.
West Coast Eagles v Western Bulldogs
The only confirmed out for the Eagles is a big one with scans confirming during the week that Star Ruck Nic Natanui has done his ACL again.
The Eagles have named up to 5 players to come in with Dom Sheed, Vardy, Nelson, Barass and Ah Chee all a chance.
The Bulldogs will want to continue being competitive to see the season out and have named Crozier, Tom Boyd, Fletcher Roberts and potential first gamer Fergus Greene.
Port Adelaide v GWS Giants
The Power have named star Forward Robbie Gray which is a huge surprise given he was knocked out in that viscous tackle by Nyhuis last week.
Power coach Hinkley has confirmed today that he will definitely play along with Jasper Pittard.
Ryder is out with injury and Bonner has been dropped.
The Giants are coming home hard and need to keep winning to not only keep their top 8 chances alive but also their slim top 4 chances.
Griffen is the only confirmed out at this stage with Deledio recovered from his latest calf set back ready to replace him.
Bonar, Buntine, Keefe and Daniel Lloyd have all been named on the extended interchange bench.
So that's the teams for another week and best of luck in your league match ups this week.
Thanks for Reading :)
I wouldn't be shocked if Talia is a late withdrawal again for the Crows, with McGovern playing down back and Ellis-Yolmen coming to provide a bit of extra pace.
It was hard to get a full team on the park this week!
