Split Airport Transfer for HiveFest-9

in #hivefest4 months ago

26 Days to Hivefest!!

Getting to Split is the hardest work of kicking off your HiveFest experience, but then what? Ya gotta get to town, find your friends, get your drink, right? 🍻

This photo of the Split Airport exit should help. It’s signage of airport transfer to the city centre via car, shuttle bus, or fast ferry. 🚕 🚌 ⛴️

In addition, here is a link to a site I used to get a taxi quote. At least it’ll give you an idea of what to expect for fares and hours of operation. Keep in mind, taxis are available generally 06:00 -22:00.

For example, I arrived at 6:30pm on Monday, 5 August I paid 36 euros fare as a party of one to the Radisson Blu Hotel. It took about 30 minutes time, mostly on highway.

As we get closer to our live community event, more & more practical info will be shared to the HiveFest channel on Telegram.

Thanks for sharing, Alessandra!

I'm not a local, but when I was searching the route from Zagreb (Croatia's capital) to Split, I found that https://www.blablacar.com/ had some cheap rides...

In the meantime, I found a flight to Split, but for those who need a ride from Zagreb, maybe that's not a bad option... ;)

What an awesome resource!!

I appreciate your sharing it.

Can’t wait to see you & our lovely friends.
Let’s grab a drink straight away! 🍻

Which cities can I get to split from? Rome? Austria? Amsterdam? Any particular recomendation?

Rome, yes.

Vienna, yes.

Amsterdam, yes.

I’ll throw together a post outline with my notes. Great question!!

I’ll be seeing you soon!

My flight notes. I promised!

I hope I’m linking this as I should. LMK if not so much! 😂

I don’t know your departure city, but I hope my Non-Stop Flights to Split post saves you some effort.

I'm going through Rome... Ryanair... ;)

My hotel included a free transfer. I think you can get a bus for 10 Euros. I'll be getting there pretty late, so I don't want to mess around.

That’s the best deal ever!

Let’s grab a red, first thing. 🍷🍷
The Croatian wines are delicious 😋

Do you know if the likes of Uber, you would have to walk too much outside of the airport to get one? (usually airports don't allow them in)
