Bicycle Heaven is a bicycle museum located in Forrest Avenue, Bellevue, PA. It was branded and started in 1996 with one discarded bike found by Craig in the junk. It is the world’s biggest bicycle museum and shop and is rated #1 Pittsburgh Museum on Trip Advisor. It is also voted as the best bike shop in the city. You can get your bike repaired or trade an older bicycle for a newer one as well. This museum also gives bikes on rents for cycling enthusiasts. It’s first of a non-profit king museum that runs on the donations made by the visitors that come from all around the world.

Many different bicycles, ancient or new are on display in this museum. The total count of bikes on display is more than 6000. The Bowden Spacelander which is the first fiberglass bicycle is one of the major showcases in the museum. Pee-wee Herman bike from the movie Pee-wee’s Big Adventure is another beautiful bicycle on display. Many movies like a beautiful mind, fathers, and daughters, etc. have showcased bikes taken from this museum. You can also find a lot of memorabilia and theme bikes on display as well. Some of these showcases include The Beatles, Sports, and Bobbleheads, Elvis Presley, local artwork, etc. for visitors to enjoy. The museum also provides bike repair services. Accessories for new and antique bikes are easily available in the museum. You can walk-in any time during opening hours to get your bike repaired or serviced. The bike tuning up rates start at $39.99 depending on the repair requirement.

This museum is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 7 pm. Since it is a non –profit museum there is no entry fee to enter the museum and people are free to donate any amount as per their wish. A free parking lot is also located adjacent to the museum for the convenience of the visitors. You can rent a bike at $8 per hour or $55 per day if you wish to ride any antique bicycle that you would like to. The museum also offers overnight parking space at $25 per day for people who would like to ride overnight or plan to take a bike trip to DC or Great Allegheny Appalachian passage.
