Every afternoon for me is super important to have a little snack. Most of the time I try to be as healthy as I can but sometimes I want a delicious chocolate cake, some cookies or an ice-cream. Also, one of my favorite desserts is my special brownies. My brownies have a thin layer on top and they are moist in the inside sounds like pure brownie glory right?
There are many reasons why these brownies are so special. These brownies are the result of a huge research. As I said before I really like brownies. So, long time ago I decided to make my own version of this classic recipe. For me was important to make a brownie with the following characteristics: fudgy texture and a thin layer of chocolate on top.
This is my brownie story: At the beginning I tried to make different brownie recipes that I had in my cooking books at home. But, any of those brownies turn up really well. Some of them had really good and bad characteristics some of others were real disasters. I enjoy a lot that experience but the empty feeling was there. After all my research and all my brownie experiments I decided to make my own brownie recipe. I didn't have anything else to lose because I had been trying everything I could. I think I was ready to try something on my own. I had to try a lot until I got a decent recipe that fills all requirements. I have to confess that some of my experiments end up being chocolate cakes, horrible brownies and even chocolate cookies. At the end I got my dreamed brownie recipe and today I want to share it with you. I hope you try it and love it as much as me, my family and friends do.

Ingredients:
- 250 gr of milk or dark chocolate .
- 180 gr of room temperature butter.
- 250 gr of powdered sugar.
- 200 gr of brown granulated sugar.
- 6 eggs.
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla.
- 200 gr of flour.
- 1 pinch of salt.
Preparation:
- Chop the chocolate and melt it in the microwave in 10 seconds intervals (stir each 10 second to avoid burning the edges)
- Stir the butter, the powder sugar and the brown sugar until everything is well combined.
- Add the eggs one by one. Don’t forget to stir each time until well combined for each egg.
- Add the melted chocolate to the sugar and butter mixture (the chocolate must be room temperature)
- Sift the flour and the salt and add both to the mixture then add the vanilla. Try to mix genteelly without over mix.
- Cover a 25 x25 mold with butter then cover with some flower. Remove the excess and serve the brownie mixture.
- Preheat the oven for about 15 min at 180 o C before you put the brownies in the oven.
- Bake until the edges are firm. The center will be still soft but not worry about it.
- Let it cool for 2 hours before you cut it.
- Cut it into squares and enjoy.
