As this is obviously a review is also going to include the odd spoiler and it is very difficult to talk about the last book in a saga without revealing any other thing.

Gansey has been looking for a lost king for years. And, one by one, he is attracting other people to his effort: Ronan, who deprives dreams; Adam, whose life no longer belongs to him; Noah, whose life is no longer life; Blue, who loves him ... and knows that she is destined to kill him.
Nothing dead is reliable. The final game has already begun.
Nothing alive is safe. Dreams and nightmares begin to converge. Love and loss are inseparable.
And the search refuses to confine itself to a fixed path ...

Ronan

He, Ronan, is my favorite character, really. From the second book in this saga, on which this book focuses too much on him, but still, they do not tell us anything about Ronan at the same time. In this last book, a secret is revealed that literally makes many things fit and makes Ronan the most powerful character. Ronan DREAM to Cabeswater. I discovered that and my head exploded, that's why the trees spoke in Latin, that's why the forest already knew Ronan and that's why the message on the rock was from Ronan. Another thing would be that, although they do not say it directly, cabeswater as it gives Adam powers that would mean that Adam is linked with Ronan (so cute). There are also other secrets from Ronan that were explosive but I do not know what to say, but they surround him with his younger brother....

Another thing that integrates us in this book, well it is not something but someone, it is the beautiful Orphan Girl; she is a girl, with legs that end in hooves, dreamed by Ronan, she helps Ronan in times of indecision and nightmares. And although many secrets are revealed by Ronan it is obvious that because it is the last book he is not focused on him, but on Gansey, his best friend.

"In the end, however, the dream always needs its dreamer."

Gansey y Blue

I decided to talk about them both at the same time, because I feel that there is no time to separate in this book. Since in this book they already have super clear that they like each other and start a strange relationship, but it is a relationship. Blue in this installment finds his father, who was as in a deep sleep in a cave where was one of the tombs, but still is a very unnecessary character for the story; another thing is that he also finds his mother, who starts a relationship with Mr. Gris (which I find very funny); and on behalf of Blue, I feel that it was not given much importance in this book, it does not have an evolution in itself, but of course, its relationship with Gansey and the end that is said from the first book.

Gansey finally achieves his goal of finding Glendower. And something that I like is that Gansey seeks to overcome his fear of bees, which they were the cause of his death as a child. But I do not like that he's literally blinded by Blue, he practically does not think of anything else to the point of getting tired. But there is a scene in which the two of them are in a togas party, that moment is very nice and I help a lot in the evolution of that couple.

"That was also a peculiar and specific magic: the ease with which their bodies adjusted, the way Gansey's heat enveloped her, the constant rhythm of her heart in her shoulder blade ..."

Henry

He is a boy who also studies in the same school as the crow boys, he has a Korean family, that's why he has Asian physical characteristics and he combs his hair very funny. He becomes very close to Gansey, very abruptly it is as if he forced Gansey to become his friend, that is to say that he is very intense, but for him Gansey takes the initiative to overcome his fears. And he's a very weird guy and he has almost no friends, so he's looking to join the Gansey group. And also manages to have a close relationship with Blue, to the point of promising to take her to travel around the world, with an emphasis on Venezuela (I LOVE that, they name Venezuela a lot, how cute).

Adam

Poor Adam, suffers a lot in this book, good not only in this book but throughout the saga. From the second book I think, that is when it is time to leave his house, he lives in a very small apartment, since he did not want to move with Gansey and Ronan. It is very difficult for him to control his powers since he first has to control himself and know himself. I feel that Adam also evolved a lot in his personality, he is not so stubborn or proud anymore and he already realizes that he is stupid for not trusting his friends more. But at the end, for me this character has the best closure of the entire saga.

There is a scene that I like a lot because of how Gansey reacted when Adam tells him that Ronan kisses him; that is if he is very impressed but not because Ronan is homosexual, but because he likes Adam that is the opposite and they could even get along because their personalities collide a lot.

“When he opened his eyes, he saw that Ronan was looking at him, as he had been looking at him for months. Adam looked back at him, as he had been looking back at him for months....”

I can not put as a notable character poor Noah, because he happened to be a secondary character or even tertiary. It almost never came out in the book, but in the end the best was sought for his soul.

My personal opinion of the book is that it has been magnificent, as always the author's writing has been great, although I have read this saga in Spanish I have not felt that the way of writing has not been lost in the translation.

But obviously the cutest thing of all was the relationship of Adam and Ronan, how they accepted their relationship as Ronan's sexual orientation as a normal subject. And I love that they both treat Orphan Girl as their daughter (super cuteeee) and I also liked the closure that Adam had with his family and that literally Adam has ignored the orders of his father and sent him to hell, but it also hurt me that that's why he had to stop associating with his mother, but it was the best for Adam.

And I being a fan of this saga scream of emotion when I find out that maybe the writer makes a complete saga focusing only on Ronan, and I said it was obvious that I had to do something with him, because it is too complicated a character and that There are still many things that are not finished about him.

And another little thing is that it has confirmed a series inspired by the saga! But nothing has been said about her, only that they will do it but they do not know when or what company will finance it.

And ready, this has been my review of the last book in this saga, I recommend it too much and that I almost do not read sagas, I like to read self-conclusive books, but I love it. Ah, I say that in the next post I will upload the fanarts that I did inspired by this saga;) I say goodbye and I hope you give me upvote and comment.
