Good afternoon to all this coffee loving community, today I want to show you how I have prepared a delicious coffee with milk.
I like to try new brands of coffee, although one of the one I like the most is what we can find in the market while it is freshly ground, that is when you can feel its freshness.
Ingredients
2 cups of water.
2 tablespoons of coffee.
4 tablespoons of milk.
1 teaspoon of sugar and
1 pinch of salt.
Preparation
I first heated two cups of water and added the teaspoon of sugar, once hot, I poured half of the water in another container to whisk the milk and in the other half I put to boil the coffee, once the milk was whipped and the coffee boiled, I proceeded to strain the coffee in the container where I whipped the milk, I added a pinch of salt and whipped until it frothed.
The truth is that lately the nights have been quite cold and there is nothing better than a cup of coffee with hot milk. I like to use my mugs that are specially designed for coffee. I emphasize that I like my coffee hot, while my husband enjoys them warmer.
My husband and I are deciding to slowly reduce the amount of sugar we use in our drinks and so we use only 1 teaspoon of sugar for this preparation. The milk helps a lot to get that flavor that stands out so much from what is sometimes called "brown".
And well, since it was time for dinner, it was an excellent accompaniment to our cheesy domplinas,café con leche is usually the drink we opt for the most at breakfast or dinner time followed by hot chocolate.
That night we enjoyed a nice dinner of domplinas with cheese and coffee with milk just the way we like it, watching a fun animated movie.
