This might probably be the 4th time I wrote about baguio XD and you guys can definitely see how often I return to this city. It's not even my province but there's something about this city that just really attracts me and calls for me to live here XD And that is why I dragged my boyfriend Al the way up here. I wanted him to see the city I liked so much and I also wanted to show him how festive the Philippines could be. So of course, I timed the visit to the opening of the flower festival in baguio. It was just a shame that we didn't get to watch the opening exhibit. But we did get to see the garden exhibits and they were so pretty ^^
Some of these, my boyfriend took. He liked stealing photos of me and I don't even know why XD
But I guess with the distance we'd normally have, he'd like to take as many photos of me as he could so he has something to look at when he misses me. But then.. I also did the same and took sooo many candid shots of him XD but for privacy's sake, I'm not gonna show his face, just his back.
We were in baguio for some 3 days and those 3 days were really so good. We had weird experiences like with the first hotel we got thatcreeped the hell out of me and gave me old hospital vibes XD
Then there was also the flying cockroach at the restaurant and Lucky it fell on him and not on me, else I would have screamed XD
Other than those weird incidents, everything was smooth sailing after ^^
The first day definitely started with really good coffee and a walk around the city. I showed him the big thrift stores and also the souvenir market so he could get an idea of what he wanted to bring home for himself and his family. And t was also a little market around Burnham park that was only there for the flower festival. Not so different from the Sunday markets they held every week on session road though.
The second day was a confusing day though because there was no session road drawing this time because of he festival. So that was a big disappointment on my part because I really wanted to draw and to have the good tasting biryani I found before in the Sunday market.
OH well, we ended up going to the strawberry farm in La Trinidad ough, and not far from there, we went to the hotsprings after. We basically just spent that whole afternoon talking and going around and with us knowing each other for 4 years now... to be finally be talking about the future... it was actually really motivating for me. Now, I think I have a better idea of what I want to do with my future, more than just working myself to death at least before getting the chance to retire by 60 XD
These were from the strawberry farm and the strawberry season really made me happy but apparently the berries here were expensive XD
I figured as much since strawberries aren't native fruits and they only grew in a few regions.
Then here are most of his candid shots when a cute little baby demanded my attention ^^ I swear the dogs and kids just come near me. Not that I'm complaining though XD I love cute pets! and kids are fun!
Then this is the toy truck f the kid that had a picnic with us at Burnham park XD The kid was so cute though, he just kept munching on our fruits then zooming off. He was even telling me about his family.
Then by evening of every night in our baguio stay, we would go to the park, or watch from the balcony of the place we stayed at and we listened to the mini concert they had in the rose garden. On the first night, we were actually there, watching the live band while strolling and eventually just chilling and holding hands then on the second night, we spent it on the balcony. On both nights, we talked for hours, just enjoying each other's company. And I really wished the nights didn't have to end. I would have loved to stay in those moments a while longer too. Maybe even experience them again. Oh how my hopeless romantic side comes out with this man.
By the last day, we finally got the souvenirs and I ended up running a marathon to the bus because we left the hotel a little late XD Our souvenir shopping took up way too much of our time, I swear XD And I definitely did not enjoy that run. But at least we made it back to manila alright.

Totoo yan, kapag tinopak ako pupunta ako magisa. Hahaha grabe ka girl ikaw na talaga 😹😹 para wala lang ang biyahe at pagod kapag pumunta ka ng baguio. Ilang oras biyahe niyo papunta? Mabilis na siguro at may express way na.
wag na antayin topak, gawan mo na ng budget kasi feel ko kaya mo naman i-uwian yan unless gusto mo talaga maranasan staycation 🤣 kasi byahe 5 hours pa rin eh so para na din ako nagbatangas kahit mas malapit batangas sakin
Hahaha, tama yan! How much budget niyo? Mas maganda kapag staycation para mafeel ang baguio. 🤣 tama lang ang 5 hours hahaha lakas din ng trip mo eh.
