You need to start asking yourself these questions.
- Do I have greed?
- Am I covetous ?
- Am I content?
Now you know that these things can hinder the purpose for your creation even after locating your purpose for life. You need to carry out this self analysis if you don't want to fail in life. Some people come into this world and there is nothing to tell about them. Some came into this world only to become spectators in the field of life. You will be a spectator as long as you don't know your purpose in life.
Most times spiritual weakness can be a reason people don't fulfil their destiny in life. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. 4 We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. 6 And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient.
You cannot win spiritual battles with canal weapon. You have to use spiritual weapon if you must be victorious.
In Matthew 2:1-6
Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, 2 “Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose, and we have come to worship him.”
3 King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was everyone in Jerusalem. 4 He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law and asked, “Where is the Messiah supposed to be born?”
5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they said, “for this is what the prophet wrote:
6 ‘And you, O Bethlehem in the land of Judah
are not least among the ruling cities of Judah, for a ruler will come from you
who will be the shepherd for my people Israel
King Herod wanted to know where Jesus was so he could go and Kill Him because he saw Jesus as a threat to his reign. While that was going on, the parents of Jesus and Jesus Himself did not know that the act of spiritual wickedness was being perpetuated against Him.
The Almighty knew about the evil of Herod, in Matthew 2:12 the Bible says
And having been warned in dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route. That happened because God knew what Herod was going to do if he learnt where Jesus was.
The Bible also says in Matthew 2:16 that
Herod was furious when he realized that the wise men had outwitted him. He sent soldiers to kill all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, based on the wise men’s report of the star’s first appearance.
He did this because he did not want Jesus to fulfil his destiny. That contributed throughout the lifetime of Christ.
In an attempt to stop Jesus from fulfilling His destiny, people lied on Him; they did all manner of evil against Him, even people of His own town and members of His own household were not exempted. They teamed up against Him so that He would not be able to fulfil His destiny. They all failed and so shall the troublers of your destiny fail in Jesus name.
Because God was with Jesus, all those who planned evil against Him failed. And so shall they fail over your life in Jesus name.
