Argentina, a land of surprises and colors. The car runs but the eyes stop everywhere, in every grain of sand and in every corner of the sky. We are near Susques, in the north-west Argentina , almost on the border with Chile. Only peace, silence and some llamas grazing. A place of the soul.

Footsteps in the Sand - Sahara, Morocco. Before I went there myself, I thought that there could not be any exciting landscapes in the Sahara, just a lot of sand. I could not have been more wrong, the steadily changing sand dunes form one of the most amazing landscapes that I have ever seen!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - North American Friday week #83 - winner announcement!

@ladybug146 North American Friday entry:

Taken on the Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park, Stormy Mountain. We woke up early to try to catch a sunrise but it was too foggy and it wasn't going to happen so while we were already awake, we decided to go on a drive towards the frozen Lake Louise glaciers. As we gained altitude on the road the blue skies started to reveal themselves above the fog.

And today it is time to share one of the nicest places on Earth, at least regarding landscape photography. Atacama Desert with all lagoons is truly a spectacular place, where you can not get enough views and consequently photos.

Sometimes I think that the nature enjoys playing with us, assuming shapes we care to make us wonder more and more. We are in the Santuario de la naturaleza Capilla de Mármol, a series of islets, sculpted by wind and water, on the shore of Lake General Carrera, Chile.

I took this photo in one of my trips to the city of Cumaná. State Sucre-Venezuela, a country place, outside the capital, where you can find peace and tranquility, as well as being able to breathe fresh air.

Contemplating the Cotopaxi

I present a beautiful photos of the beautiful Cotopaxi National Park, a large area of Ecuador, that includes parts of the provinces of Cotopaxi, Pichincha and Napo. Known for its inactive volcano, whose summit is covered with snow, and for the lagoon of Limpiopungo. Wildlife includes hawks, condors. It is very crowded by tourists and locals climb the mountain next to the volcano

When they want to escape the turmoil of the capital, the favorite destination of the Porteños is Tigre. Less than an hour away by train from Buenos Aires, this city, that borders the immense delta of Paraná, is a haven of peace and greenery.
Around the city center, boardwalks along the quays pass by the belle-époque buildings built when European immigrants founded the first rowing clubs.
Where does the name Tigre come from? It is in reference to the jaguars, called "tigers" by the settlers, who populated the area upon their arrival.
