Since I started playing Splinterlands again, I've been testing all the decks in the game to find out which one was my favorite and after several tests I realized that the best option is the dragon deck because I can select it and another deck, this means that the number of strategies I can use increases, as well as my chances of winning.
In my search for new strategies I was combining the Dragon deck with other decks to see what the best combinations would be and one of my tests was to increase the potential of the Void Dragon monster since it has a great chance of dodging attacks, so I decided to test the Dragon deck with the Fire deck because it had the Countess Sinash monster that would increase the Void Dragon's speed and also increase the chances of dodging attacks.
Link to the Battle
This is a strategy that revolves around the Frontline, more specifically around the Void Dragon. The strategy works as follows:
Quix the Devious - This is the summoner I selected for the battle and the reason I selected him is because he will reduce the speed of my opponent's monsters by -1 and this means that he will increase the Void Dragon's chances of dodging attacks, he will also reduce their ranged attack by -1.
Void Dragon - This is the big star in the battle and its main function will be to dodge my opponent's attacks.
Arkemis the Bear - I selected this monster in the second position because there is the Melee Mayhem rule in the battle and this means that monsters with melee attack can attack from any position. Arkemis the Bear's function will be to deal damage, increase the armor of my monsters by +2 with his ability Protect and reduce the attack of my opponent's monsters with his ability Halving.
Chaos Dragon - Just like the Void Dragon, this is also a powerful card in the dragon deck and it will have 2 main functions in this battle. The first function is its Blind ability, which will increase the chances of my opponent's monsters missing their attacks by +15%. The second function is to cause damage since it is a card with a strong attack and the Blast ability. In addition, it also has a high chance of dodging attacks since it has the Flying ability.
Supply Runner - This monster will have the function of increasing the speed of my monsters by +1 with its Swiftness ability. The more speed my monsters have, the greater the chances of them dodging attacks, especially the Void Dragon.
Oshuur Constantia - This is also another powerful monster in the dragon deck, but it is only at level 1, so it is not very useful and its function will be to revive the Void Dragon if it is defeated in battle.
Countess Sinash - Just like the Supply Runner, this monster has the function of increasing the speed of my monsters with its Swiftness ability.
This strategy focuses on making my monsters attack first and having a great chance of dodging attacks. If you watch the battle, you'll understand how useful it is and how using it made Void Dragon an almost immortal card in battle.
My opponent strategy was also good, but he didn't expect that I would use Void Dragon and that his attacks would be evaded so easily, in the end none of my monsters were defeated and I believe that this must have really irritated my opponent.
