Changing your hope for Christ's in you is not so easy; It is more complicated than we think. Luke 1 and 2 tell us about the crucial moment in which Mary accepts to become pregnant with Christ. He arrives at Elizabeth's house, and the Bible says that the creature in Elizabeth's belly jumped; John the Baptist was alive now. Elizabeth was pregnant with John the Baptist, but she had never felt alive. Mary was pregnant with the hope of Christ. And we could think "Good for Maria!", But Maria had it complicated. She was not just a virgin girl, she was espoused, she had someone who was saving money to marry her, a good man who married her and went to work for her for more than a year. Maria must have been thinking about the suit she was going to wear, the shoes, the house. Mary had hope; I was not a virgin who had no hope.
Maybe, if it had been one that had nothing else to do, that had no hope in the life of anything, why take it? Why choose it? Faith is found in that which has hope and has to renounce to marry in white, because the suit was not going to serve him; He had to give up using the shoes he had gotten because his feet were going to swell.
Every time you have a commitment, you have to give up things.
The problem is that we have been disappointed so many times; Everyone who interacts, whether with friends, colleagues, spouse, children; Many times we give up many things so that their dreams come true, and sometimes those people fail us. There are ladies, for example, who stop studying to get married, and then the husband does not attend to her properly. You leave your hope for the hope of another; And there is nothing wrong with that; That is what is done in relationships; The problem is when you only do it in your natural relationships, because men fail you, but God never fails you. You have to know that when you agree to exchange your hope for the Lord's, everything changes; For Maria, this meant that there is no such thing as a wedding with a white suit, nice shoes, a honeymoon. Now, when José arrived, he would have a surprise; It would not be just a matter of having a house with a nice bed, but also with a crib; It was telling her parents-who took care of her for so long-that she was now pregnant. It was not easy for Mary to say: I change my hope for the hope of Christ.
He who has no hope, gets pregnant of anyone; But he who has hope must learn to become pregnant only with God, and to exchange his hope for the hope of Christ.
You do not move for any opportunity that comes to you; You exchange your hope for the hope of Christ in you, for what He has for you. Not everything will be easy, but everything will work for good. You will reach more than you ever thought. The question is if you are brave enough to leave your hope, for what He wants you to do.
Mary had to renounce many things, God had to convince Joseph; But the hope you receive does not bring hope to the whole world. The Bible says that when Herod learned that Mary had given birth and that the kings were looking to present the Messiah, the King of the Jews who had been born, he became nervous; Because people who are in palaces feel threatened by a virgin who has hope.
People who are in palaces feel threatened when there is someone who dares to believe, to become spiritually pregnant with something more powerful that they can not understand. What bothered Herod was that the whole caravan that he saw present that came to his palace, was temporarily in his palace because they were not looking for anyone in the palace, but a girl and a boy who had believed and They had exchanged what they had for what God wanted.
The riches in the palace are always temporary because they are always looking for those who have the hope of Christ in them. Therefore, there is a reward for your life. The first inn will close you, you will have to - like Maria - deliver all your dreams, what you are; But do not be martyred for giving everything; Believe it to God; If you did it sincerely, believing God, He will reward you. Not everything goes well, not everything is easy; But if you surrender your hope for Christ's in you, at the end of history, something will happen. You have closed all the doors, they have told you: Here you will not give birth to what you have inside you, but God always has a space, a place where the dream can be completed; And the riches that are in the palace, are there for a short time, because they are looking for those who are giving birth to the hope that God has placed in their lives.
From somewhere, God is going to bring what is necessary so that you can do what He has said that you are going to do. You have closed doors, but God has a space and people who are looking for you to give you the victory He promised you. Christ in you is the hope of glory.
Do not get bitter, do not get frustrated. If one day you gave your hope for someone else and failed you, do not be afraid to once again exchange your hope, this time, for Christ's in you.
That is the attitude @darlenys01, to believe Christ in any circumstance.
God bless you
this is what God has promised us will be fulfilled, for he is a Man to lie, and all the blessings that He has predestined for us will come true.
It does not matter if you have closed your doors, God will open to give way to your blessing. God will use what he has to use but, the blessing will come from Jehovah.
God bless you @darlenys01
