“Back to Summer” Camera Roll

Summer for us began in early July this year. Itinerary for today was a hike to Helen lake, and for tomorrow Lake Louise was the plan. I have published some smartphone photos already, but today is the beginning of my DSLR Summer camera roll. I have been waiting for this moment for quite some time with excitement. Also today is my first day ever viewing these photos. This is how I like to experience the Canadian Rockies, hike first, then publish photo blogs much later. On this particular day the weather was overcast, and probably about 18°C or so. Not exactly ideal for photographing, but this was the designated day and a hiking we will go. The parking lot was very busy actually, but we did manage to find a spot to park the vehicle. Time to begin the hike. These are the first few photos I took that day. Helen Lake is located inside Banff National Park, and almost across the road from Bow lake. Of course this is the province of Alberta.

That's a rul nice shot of that mountain in the 1st photo.

The province of Alberta looks greener, like it's been untouched by Autumn. But it's beautiful, very 'alive' and thriving. Great photography.

It is a vibrant scenic rich place for sure, any photographers dream location. Thanks @edith-4angelseu.

Excellent friend @daveks hiking in the Canadian Rockies and much later the experience allows you, to post photo blogs, which are always very good work that we observe in Hive and in your community.

That is the way I like to blog here on Hive. Thanks for looking, hope your weekend is going well!

Likewise @daveks , have a happy weekend. All the best.

Magnificent, love this place and glad you share this beauty with us. Awesome shot's my friend.

Finally get to unload the dslr pics which I’ve been waiting patiently to do. Thanks.

Aaahhhh summer. Seems like a far away place at the moment. We are buried in snow.

Just the opposite around here. Wouldn’t mind seeing more of the white stuff actually.

Lovely photos as always, despite the day's lighting difficulties, these are delightful photos to look at... Have a great Sunday and thanks for being with us here in #Hive!...
