Here I am on my way to Eiffel Lake. Look at the beautiful yellow Larch trees along the trail. This was the reason I planned my trip in the Fall, so that I could get some wonderful Larch tree pics. Fantastic! Just one problem, there was a little light rain along the way, ok no problem, I can manage that. A little light rain never hurt anybody right? Moving along the trail, temperature dropping ever so slightly, and as I gain elevation, the light snow flakes begin to fly. Hmmm. Not super ideal, but what can you do. I’ve gone this far, too far to turn back. I want to see what Eiffel lake looks like, don’t you? After coming all this way, setting aside part of my week of holidays for this experience, I gotta make this hike work. Come hell or high water.

What an amazing picture that first one is! Beautiful trees. That looks like a great hike but maybe a little slippery! It is that time of year in Canada...
That first B&W turns the yellow white as snow, it looks like the whole place has tons of snow. That turned out really cool!
!DHEDGE
It was slippery, just had to watch my step. I did make it out in one piece, but got nice and wet!
I think hell just froze over.
Sorta.
is it starting to snow?
Yes it was, and it increased.
Next stop Eiffel tower.
Okay, that looks like it
Still some awesome shot's in the light rain, beautiful trees and I can see why this plan was set in motion for this time.
It was worth it, but the snow and rain did get in the way.
Snow in October!! What was the altitude?
This was actually end of Sep. Probably around 2,300 metres or so.
