Have you ever wondered why your prayers never get answered? Well it is because something is wrong and it is not from anyone but from you. There are lots of things many of us do today and look at it as if it doesn't matter but funny enough it is those same things that causes havoc in our entire luves , keeps up in a stagnant position and depreive our from not just being unanswered but from reaching to God too. According to Papa David Ibiyeomie, there are six categories of offence and they are:
Offence against God.
The Bible says "woe is unto him that strives with his maker". Some people due to their present predicament has questioned God, say so many ill things against God, some have even cursed God for creating them into abject poverty. You should love God with all your heart because when there is a woe, they can never be a way but if u humble yourself in prating and fasting and sincerely ask God from for forgiveness, he is just and merciful to forgive us our sin and answer our prayers.Offence against the church.
His often do you devout yourself into the cleaning of our Lord's house(the church)? The I'll things you say in your heart about the church us one of the reason your prayers are never answered by God. Offence is a thing of the heart, the world doesn't have to hear what you say or think. Your small complains about the things of the church or the way the service is organized stands as a havoc and blockiage to your prayers. Ask God for forgiveness and never mock God's house.Offence against the church of God.
Day by day we go against the ways of the lLord even though the lord has given us instructions about how to live our lives in his book, the holy bible.Anything you doubt or question about the wordings of the Holy Bible is an offence against the word of God. The word of God is settled In heaven so even if things are not going well now just be patient and wait on your season of harvest which is just around the corner.Offence against your spiritual father.
If either by mistake or on purpose you might have use the wrong words on God's servant (your pastor, bishop, priest, evangelist, pope, or apostle), you should hble yourself and ask for an apology. It is not in your place to curse any man of God because you feel he isn't doing the right thing. God passes his message and blessing through his service so you must make sure you don't annoy them. Familiarity, envy and hardness of the heart can make someone offended against any servant of God just like Miriam and Aaron did in the Holy Bible.Offence against your spouse.
You cannot bear crude against your spouse and expect God to answer your prayers. Forgive whatever your spouse in whatever way theyight have offended to attract more of God's grace in your life and answer to your prayers. Wife respect and forgive thy husband and husband respect and forgive thy wife too.Offence againat your parents.
As a Christian and as the holy bible say I'm Ephesians 6:1, Children obey your parents in the lord for this is right. To live a long life on earth we should honour our parents, respect them and make them happy.Offence against your fellow men.
If you know you've offended your friend or sibling, please apologise. Stay from from criminal acts against any human. Make sure you're living a free life where everyone is your friend even your enemies. Recall the bible also state that we should pray for our enemies and love thy neighbor as ye love thyself. As a Christian, you must live a life void of offences and criminal acts.
