Knowledge is what everyone desires. There is a discrepancy between the former way knowledge is accessed and the present however both of them have their impact and significance.
Special thanks to the entire management if this community for their resilience in ensuring consistency in all the prompts. For this particular theme, it took me some moments to think before putting up something like this.
In this post, I would share how knowledge is sought after in those days and compare it with what is happening presently and finally draw my own perspective on the entire issue.
In those days, it takes time for one to access knowledge because a lot of effort is involved in other to gain accessibility. Information are hidden and it takes those with resilience to attain any level of achievement.
That reminds me of my days in the university where i almost stayed in the library all the days of my life sourcing for vital knowledge that would help me in my academic pursuits. It normally takes me time and reasonable amount of energy before I could get anything. The time i ought to focus on a different task is being used up to achieve another different thing. There wasn't modernisation of e-reading materials as we have now. With this, it makes me think how our predecessors travelled miles to acess knowledge.
There was a time my dad was sharing with me how he suffered before he could even go to school and to build himself to where he us today. School wasn't close by, it takes them long distance before they go to school. Because of what he experienced, he tried everything possible to ensure that i had one of the best educational system in my time. He helped me with a bicycle to aid me to school. This affects me because of the stress and time efficiency. The truth is that i have learnt at the end how to be responsible.
The latter way of acquiring knowledge is via ICT which makes virtually everyone to access information cheaply at the confine of their house. This is also added advantage because no need to spend much time again. Little surfing of the internet provides all basic information that one needs. It has made great impact too in the lives of individual even though whatever that has advantages has its own disadvantages as well. The challenge i have with this transformation is that knowledge acquired sometimes are pseudo because everyone has access to the internet while others use it as a platform to extort others.

I noticed that there is rampant spread of knowledge in the present dispensations. Some of these knowledge has not been proven and they are fallacy. Recently i was discussing with someone concerning the recent aberration we have in most marriages today due to rhe kind of things that goes on in social media and other handle. This hasn't in any way make us better than our predecessor which enjoyed good marriage without chaos unlike what we have now.
Conclusion;
Knowledge is more available and at people's finger tip than our predecessors in the present time which is a blessing however we need to be cautious because some aren't actually a blessing because it has turned some off the track. On the other hand, the former knowledge was authentic however it has been improved in the present day.
The blessings of both the former and latter knowledge depends on how it is used.

I agree,Technology is improving day by day, in terms of education we have to admit that people in the old days were very difficult to find information because they had to walk very long distances.
If compared to today, it is very easy to get it all, just sit at home and get everything we want.

The stories of how our old men went to school is really touching. They could do anything to get educated, even walk barefooted with torn uniforms just to attend school.
