Best and Worst Transport Experience.

Traveling by road has always been fun for me, although it is the only transportation means I have tried except for traveling through the sea. The reason why I love traveling by road is because I get to visit other states, see things I have never seen before, and buy some souvenirs along with me.

Since I love traveling by road, then guess what? I already have lots of experience from traveling by road. Today I will be sharing with you two of my experiences from traveling on the road; the first one is the best experience, while the other one is the worst.

The Best Road Trip.

I had just reported to my primary place of assignment (PPA) for my one-year compulsory service in my country; what's left is for me to resume the date that was given. Now, I was in service in Abuja State, while my primary residence is in Lagos State. I had just one week to move all my belongings from Lagos to Abuja. I started searching for a nice car that would take me to Lagos from Abuja, and I got one.

GIG Motors, which stands for "God Is Good Motors," is one of the best transport companies in Nigeria and after the experience, I agree to them being the best.

I already booked my ticket and the time for movement was given; we were to move at 6 am. The bus was called a jet bus and it felt like I was inside a plane, even if I haven't been on one yet. I had one full seat to myself and there was a passage in the middle of the bus. Even with the pothole on the road, I hardly felt it.

We drove through different cities and states; the driver gave us good music and the air conditioning was on all through the journey. The best part of the experience was that I planned to spend 15 hours on the road but I got to my destination in 13 hours, which means even with our stopping on the road, I was able to get to my destination on time.

Worst Experience.

One of the worst experiences I have had while traveling was when I was traveling from Sokoto to Ilorin. I was just about to leave Sokoto State for Ilorin and the sad part of it was that you can hardly get a bus going to another state from Sokoto State. If you miss your bus for that day, you might have to wait some days before you get another one. This is why I jumped at the first available bus and I was to sit with someone in the front passenger seat.

I am a tall person with a long leg, so sitting in the front passenger seat with some was hell. At a point I couldn't feel my legs and the only form of air we got was the air coming from the window.

After driving for a long time, the car broke down in the middle of nowhere. If I was kidnapped at that moment, I can bet no one would find me because there was no service on my phone, and neither did I know what to do. The worst part of it was that any time we parked to do anything on the road, I always found it hard to stand because there was no blood flow in my leg; at a point, it felt like I was going to get paralyzed. I was scared of the dangerous road but I am here talking about it.

The two experiences are one of the best and worst journeys I have had while traveling.

Bzzr! #hivebr

I love to travel but I can't enjoy it due to motion sickness sadly.
I only get to enjoy the journey for a short while or if I happen to be on a bike

It was when you mentioned bike I knew you don’t like to travel at alllllll 🤣🤣🤣

I hope you enjoy a long good trip soon

I do nau😂😫
Na condition cause am
I don't get motion sickness on bikes
Just in vehicles

I haven't boarded a GIG bus before. I've seen so many of their buses whenever I travel long distances but they don't have a bus to my destination. Other wise, I should have entered it once

They have one of the best bus and you can pick any of your choice

It's just oppression to keep mentioning serving in Abuja. We that served in villages don't have lending😅

🤣🤣🤣
When they said you should go far, you no gree

Mr alien go and cut your long legs o so that you can enjoy the front passenger seat because that's my best part of a vehicle 😁

But two people are not meant to sit in one place in the front seat.

Aside from that, I still like the front seat.

Its good to know that we still have some quality commercial transported compared to the majority of the deadly ones on the road.

The journey to sokoto is usually a living hell, first from the distance and second if you are not privileged to get a good bus. I can totally relate with this when I migrated from sokoto to Ilorin some few years back. My brother just moved down also for his NYSC program but I made sure he got a fair movement journey down there.

Yeah, since you have traveled that distance, you would have understood how straining it was. it was a very hard journey but with a bus like GIG, traveling is very sweet.
