Here's a few things I've applied to my life in respect of moving it forward the best way possible and with the understanding I've only got one life allotted to me so taking responsibility, and showing discipline in respect of playing out and following through with those responsibilities, is the only real option. These are only a few of the key points, understandings and habits I have deployed.
- Family is just a word and simply because someone calls themselves family does not mean one needs to tolerate their bad behaviours like lies, disrespect, manipulation and their tendencies towards drama and chaos.
- Wish hard working people around you, those who apply effort and responsibility, well and all the success in the world. They deserve it and in doing so the lessons learned can permeate within oneself a little more easily - Don't tear successful people down, want to be successful yourself.
- Self love in the form of discipline (self-discipline) is one of the most powerful tools in a person's tool box. Discipline makes things happen, lack of discipline causes things not to happen.
- You cannot have everything you want, be anything you want to be or go everywhere you want to go. This is not to say one shouldn't have belief, goals and even hopes, but unrealistic thoughts and desires will be unrealised. Determine what's possible and make it happen.
- Want to succeed? Start fucken moving forward. No one ever walked anywhere without first taking a step.
- Goodbyes are a part and parcel of becoming your best self. You'll not please everyone and not everyone is good for your forward journey, growth and development; know when to let people go.
- Find smart people, those doing well, innovating, taking responsibility and showing discipline as they progress...then don't compete with them, work with them.
- Humility is sexy. You don't need to show off, grab the attention, promote yourself or achievements...and if you do you should snap the fuck out of it because you're a wanker.
- A person becomes an adult when they comprehend that no one cares about them unless they can provide some form of value.
These things are, of course, only scratching the surface of the concepts and processes I've used in life and not all of them are things I've made up myself - I have a brain the size of a peanut so aren't very smart - however these, and others like them, have allowed me to furnish my life with a lot of things like happiness, fulfillment, strong relationships, financial security, travel, material things and wisdom which helps me drive forward.
They may be meaningless to you and that's ok, you'll be the person you choose to be so you may have your own guidelines and ethos, or not. Either way you'll live a life commensurate to that which you make it.

Valid points all. I resonate with many of them.
This sentence brings to light one of my pet peeves. It aggravates me to no end, when people bitch about how so-and so cheated, slept their way, ruined people's lives, etc. Nearly always, the person bitching has done virtually none of those things listed in your post.
That's one of the scenarios this point covers; so many people choose not to see the hard work, dedication and effort, the failure and learnings a person has had to go through to succeed. They just want to tear them down for that small moment of empowerment it brings them which deflects away from their own inadequacies.
My Fave...
Yep, sounds funny but it's a valid point, so many people are out there deluding themselves that their poor behaviour is acceptable.
Hi @galenkp, little (nothing) to add to the key points you mention. Just to underline two:
I think in a world with so much ego, these points are more than timely.
I like those two particularly as we live in a world of selfishness and entitlement.
These are two very good points... I hope you are enjoying a good end of the day.
Sorry, Good morning.
It's only 0600H and I'm just getting Thursday started. The end of the day will come eventually though. I hope you have a good one too.
You're right. The one who is ending the day is me 🤣..
I like the one about not being able to be whatever you want. People these days don't really know how to handle disappointment. I struggle with it myself, and I think I am relatively healthy. These new generations though are off the charts!
That's a pretty important one and, like you say, especially in the sort of scenarios we are seeing these days with entitlement and so on. It's an alarming trend (entitlement) and I think the full issues that stem from it will not be seen for a while to come yet.
I fear you are right!
Well, the mani in your brain is very clever because it has applied all this to your life to make it better.
The second point left me thinking, although I agree with all of them. Wishing the best to those people will make that person's life better and yours too because everything is energy and everything comes back. You have used your energy very well and taught others.
Let's continue to design our life for the best!
The second point is important but one so many people get wrong; it's easier to tear others down than rise to their level I guess.
I think others should be inspired and learn from them.
I think disappointments are difficult to resolve; it depends on self-knowledge and willpower.
Yes, but through dealing with disappointments a person is more effective moving forward.
Well I think this is all of the things a person should learn in his life. I think it gets half of the life to understand all this things about the life. Love, discipline and all. It's a really great post sir. Thanks for sharing such a content with us.
Yeah, some of them at least.
