Using your real name is respectable.
But you are also setting yourself up for trouble.
Especially on a platform like this, that is infested with bots and anonymous accounts. So everyone does what he or she likes.
Using your own name would make someone seems more trustworthy, but I myself would prefer a little bit of anonymity online. For example, my FB account, I would only add people I'm acquainted with because I wouldn't want to be scammed or have my account hacked and used for shady purposes. (I'm a little bit paranoid).
So, having an identity online that's somewhat separate from your real one seems more safer (in a way).
