I am trying to follow this, but I don't have a qr code to scan on my recovery sheet. The recovery sheet only has my 24 words on it - that's all. How do I get a private key from my 24 word phrase?

Hold on - obviously you wont see a dip if you view an altcoin as a bticoin/altcoin pair. They look flat because they fall at the same rate as bitcoin. You need to view ltc against usd.

Bitcoin unlimited is not a suitable successor to bitcoin. I say stay with bitcoin core, adopt segwit, and look forward to a glorious future. IMO bitcoin unlimited is a con.
