My double game activity in the Modern Format + My Survival Mode Game Experience
On Splinterlands is running season 154 which is the first season that has three ranked game modes that you can play simultaneously in each season with a single account or with multiple accounts because multi-accounts are allowed on Splinterlands.

After concluding a disappointing and unfun 4-season test in which I (un)played in the Wild Format using XBOT I began another test in which I doubled my gaming activity in the Modern Format playing with two accounts.
You can read the results of my test in the Wild Format and my final thoughts in the post I published at the end of season 151 and which you will find at the next link.
In season 152 I started a new test in Modern Format in which I used my alt account, @libertygame27, with which I played manually.
The result of my test in season 152 was positive because I enjoyed playing manually with two accounts instead of one and because I ended the season with a profit = +1.21$
Based on the current market values of the HIVE, DEC, and SPS tokens, I have updated and recalculated the results I obtained playing with @libertygame27 in four seasons in Wild Format and season 152 in Modern Format.

In season 153 for my test in the Modern Format I used:
- the Chaos Legion, Riftwacher and Rebellion cards delegated from my main account (Market Price value: 16000 CP)
- the Reward Rebellion and Reward Chaos Legion cards (36440 CP)
- a delegation of 50K SPS from my main account
- I rented 19 top level Chaos Legion cards which you can see in the next screenshot
For the rental of the cards, I spent 911.29 DEC.
My test results in the second season were better financially than the results nthe previous season even though I spent twice as much on card rental.

I will continue this test also in the current season because playing at the same time and manually with two accounts instead of one is little challenging for me and because I enjoy playing manually in the Mondern Format.

During season 153 I finally completed the upgrade of common Rebellion Reward cards and am very close to completing the upgrade of rare Rebellion Reward cards.
My gaming experience in the new Survival mode.
Today I increased my game experience in the new game mode: the Survival Mode.
If you don't know the Survival Mode you can read the post I wrote and published four days ago in which I showed how to exclude cards you don't want to use in the Survival Mode to avoid the Cooldown period for cards used in a losing battle in this format.

Before today I had played only three battles in Survival Mode: 1 battle won and 2 battles lost.
My situation after these 3 battles was:
- Available Cards: 851
- Depleted Cards: 14
- Rating Points: 20
- Tier: Wood
Today I played 19 battles in Survival Mode and brought my total battles played to 22 with a win rate of 45.45%
I am 60 rating points away from reaching the Bronze league but my cards in Cooldown have increased 15->92.
My main problem in this new format is that I have few usable summoners.
In Survival Mode summoners are much more important than in other formats because without a good number of summoners it is very easy to be in the situation of not being able to play even with a lot of monster cards.
Infact after only 22 battles played:
- I have 11 summoners in Cooldown
- only two summoners that I can use
To solve this problem I am thinking of opening the 29 Chaos Legion packs that I have had for a long time and have not opened until now.
In fact having level 1 summoners to sacrifice when I encounter very strong opponents could be very useful to me in Survival Mode.
I will evaluate in the coming days what to do.
Survival Mode is a fun game mode because knowing that the cards used in a losing battle go into cooldown produces more concentration in choosing cards.
The aspect I dislike about Survival Mode is the choice to allow the use of bots.
When and if I notice the presence of so many bots in Survival Mode and if the bots are efficient I will stop playing manually and use XBOT which has already implemented its version for Survival Mode.
I will end this post by showing you my last two won battles that I played in Modern Format and Survival Mode.
In the Modern Format I am in Diamond II league and have an SPS boost x 8.50
In Survival Mode I am in the Wood league (the starting league) and have an SPS boost x 13.30
My SPS gains per battle won in Survival Mode are very small (0.042 SPS) compared to my gains in Modern Format (4.87 SPS) but will increase if I can advance to higher leagues.

Dopo aver concluso un deludente e poco divertente test di 4 stagioni in cui ho (non)giocato nel Wild Format usando XBOT ho iniziato un altro test in cui ho raddoppiato la mia attività di gioco nel Modern Format giocando con due accounts.

Nella stagione 152 ho iniziato un nuovo test nel Modern Format in cui ho utilizzato il mio alt account, @libertygame27, con cui ho giocato manualmente.
Il risultato del mio test nella stagione 152 è stato positivo perchè mi sono divertito a giocare manualmente con due accounts invece di uno e perchè ho chiuso la stagione con un profitto = +1.21$
In base ai valori di mercato attuali dei token HIVE, DEC e SPS ho aggiornato e ricalcolato i risultati che ho ottenuto giocando con @libertygame27 in quattro stagioni nel Wild Format e nella stagione 152 nel Modern Format.

Durante la stagione 153 ho finalmente completato l'upgrade delle carte Rebellion Reward comuni e sono molto vicino a completare l'upgrade delle carte Rebellion Reward rare.
La mia esperienza di gioco nella nuova modalità Sopravvivenza
Oggi ho aumentato la mia esperienza di gioco nella nuova modalità di gioco: il Survival Mode.
Se non conosci il Survival Mode puoi leggere il post che ho scritto e pubblicato quattro giorni fa in cui ho mostrato come escludere le carte che non vuoi utilizzare nel Survival Mode per evitare il periodo di Cooldown per le carte utilizzate in una battaglia persa in questo formato.

Prima di oggi avevo giocato solo tre battaglie nel Survival Mode: 1 battaglia vinta e 2 battaglie perse.
La mia situazione dopo queste 3 battaglie era:
- Available Cards: 851
- Depleted Cards: 14
- Rating Points: 20

Oggi ho giocato 19 battaglie nel Survival Mode e ho portato il mio totale di battaglie giocate a 22 con un win rate del 45.45%
Mi mancano 60 punti di rating per raggiungere la lega Bronze ma le mie carte in Cooldown sono aumentate 15->92.
Il mio problema principale in questo nuovo formato è che ho pochi evocatori utilizzabili.
Nel Survival Mode gli evocatori sono molto più importanti che negli altri formati perchè senza evocatori non è possibile giocare anche se si hanno tante carte mostro.
Infatto dopo sole 22 battaglie giocate:
- ho 11 evocatori in Cooldown
- solo due evocatori che posso utilizzare
Per risolvere questo problema sto pensando di aprire i 29 pacchi Chaos Legion che ho da tanto tempo e che fino ad ora non ho aperto.
Infatti avere evocatori di livello 1 da sacrificare quando incontro avversari molto forti potrebbero essermi molto utili nel Survival Mode.
Valuterò nei prossimi giorni cosa fare.
Il Survival Mode è una modalità di gioco divertente perchè sapere che le carte utilizzate in una battaglia persa vanno in cooldown produce una concentrazione maggiore nella scelta delle carte.
L'aspetto che non mi piace del Survival Mode è la scelta di consentire l'utilizzo dei bots.
Quando noterò la presenza di tanti bots nel Survival Mode e se i bots saranno efficienti smetterò di giocare manualmente e affiderò le mie carte ad XBOT che ha già implementato la sua versione per il Survival Mode.
Concludo questo post mostrandoti le mie ultime due battaglie vinte che ho giocato nel Modern Format e nel Survival Mode.
Nel Modern Format sono in lega Diamond II e ho un SPS boost x 8.50
Nel Survival Mode sono in lega Wood e ho un SPS boost x 13.30
I miei guadagni in SPS per battaglia vinta nel Survival Mode sono molto piccoli (0.042 SPS) rispetto ai miei guadagni nel Modern Format (4.87 SPS) ma aumenteranno se riuscirò ad avanzare nelle leghe più alte.

Oh that's very logical. So because cards go through a cool down phase, you'll need to even cards on the ground for playing better opponents
It's nice to see that Modern is profitable even if you rent out cards. I don't spend enough of my energy so it tends to overfill for me, but it works out great for those who have the free time.
Yes the modern format is the only format that offers possibilities for play = fun and also profit for those who hire cards. One of the next tests I might do is to try starting right from 0 in Modern Format by renting cards and SPS, in which case it would be interesting to see the results. If I have time in the future I would like to do this test.
Playing Modern is still my favourite mode and I play it myself. If I have over 45 energy, my bot gets activated and plays wild.
I haven’t really tried survival mode so far, but I definitely will.
Completely agree about the Modern Format because it is also my favorite format and it is also the only format in which I have a lot of fun
Ora che ci penso, è strano che nel Wild format bisogna pagare una fee per giocare, mentre nel Survival mode no... in entrambi i casi c'è il problema delle bot farms, per cui forse in futuro bisogna aspettarsi l'introduzione di una fee anche nella nuova modalità?

Rispetto al Wild Format in cui una carta può essere usata sempre il Survival Mode non dovrebbe avvantaggiare molto i bots perchè giocare richiederebbe molti noleggi.
E' una modalità di gioco pensata per chi ha tante carte e non penso che noleggiarle per darle ad un bot possa essere profittevole o almeno non come avveniva prima nel Wild...

Come sempre prezioso, caro @libertycrypto27. Ho un dubbio a cui non so se saprai rispondere.
Sia per mancanza di tempo, che mancanza di voglia, dopo l'aumento a minimo un DEC per noleggiare carte, la stagione scorsa non ho fatto neanche una battaglia. E penso che sarà così anche per le prossime.
A questo punto ho solo due alternative di fronte: noleggiare tutte le mie carte e sperare in un ritorno di interesse o venderle e chiudere definitivamente la mia avventura con Splintrlands.
Nel caso in cui decidessi di noleggiarle, che è la prima scelta, non so quanto conveniente, ma legata ad un senso di affezione al gioco, del tutto irrazionale, mi sorge un dubbio.
Se noleggio una carta e chi la prende la usa per la modalità Survaival, nel momento in cui dovesse finire in cooldown per magari più di 15 giorni, quando a fine stagione la dovessi riavere indietro mi ritroverei il cooldown da scontare e quindi non potrei noleggiarla per la stagione successiva o verrebbe azzerato?
Non mi sembra che nessuna delle due situazioni sia corretta a dire il vero: nel primo caso il proprietario della carta viene penalizzato ingiustamente e non può far nulla per tutelarsi, nel secondo caso sarebbe un modo semplicissimo per aggirare il cooldown del Survival mode.
L'unica soluzione corretta sarebbe quella di impedire l'uso delle carte prese in affitto nel Survival mode. Magari è così già da ora, ma non mi sembra di aver letto da nessuna parte questa cosa, anche se a dire il vero non sono stato molto attento.
Se anche questo rendesse più improduttivo il noleggio delle carte vedrò se vale la pena seguire questa strada o se mettere un velo definitivo su Splinterlands.
Ciao @garlet le carte sono di default abilitate al Survival Mode ma puoi scegliere quali disabilitare. Dato che sei interessato al noleggio ti aggiorno sul fatto che a partire dal 18 marzo i noleggi giornalieri saranno disattivati e solo l'opzione stagionale sarà possibile
Diciamo che questo che hai descritto è uno dei casi in cui non esiste una soluzione e si tutela il giocatore e quindi abilitando una carta al survival mode c'è il rischio che ti ritorni con qualche giorno di cooldown o nel caso peggiore, chi l'ha noleggiata la utilizza l'ultimo giorno della stagione, con molti giorni di cooldown nel caso di una carta comune di livello 1
Grazie @libertycrypto27. Si avevo già letto quel tuo articolo, ma non avevo afferrato il fatto che disabilitandole lì sarebbe rimasto disabilitato anche dopo averle noleggiate.
Non avendo più giocato non ho avuto modo di vedere se ci prende la carta in affitto vede che quella carta non può esser usata per il Survival mode. Anche questa in effetti non mi sembra una soluzione valida. Chi vuoi affitti una carta comune di livello 1, soprattutto al costo minimo di 1 DEC di ora, se non per usarla nel Survival mode e non è corretto che se ne accorga solo dopo. Se invece si vede ok, nessun problema.
Si, si avevo anche letto che la proposta di eliminare i noleggi giornalieri è passata. Avevo anche spiegato che secondo me non è una cosa positiva, perché toglie ulteriore flessibilità e libertà ai giocatori ed ai proprietari. E di conseguenza secondo me danneggerà il mercato, che un tempo era uno dei punti di forza del gioco, ma che ora sta man mano sparendo, tra regole, cooldown, carte soulbound, carte utilizzabili solo in Wild e carte vecchie sempre meno potenti rispetto alle nuove.
Solo i noleggi stagionali possono essere utilizzati nel Survival Mode.

Quindi se metti una carta a noleggio stagionale non puoi impedire che venga usata nel Survival Mode perchè se provo a noleggiare una carta con noleggio stagionale non ci sono informazioni relative all'utilizzo nel survival mode e quindi va da se (penso) che l'utilizzo nel survival mode è sempre consentito in questa casistica
Quindi fino a questa stagione, avendo messo a noleggio tutto giornalmente, il problema non sussiste. Mentre ci sarà dalla prossima quando i noleggi giornalieri saranno esclusi. Quindi il proprietario di una carta la noleggia per una stagione poi rischia di vedersela bloccata per un periodo molto più lungo. Altra stupidata degli sviluppatori che mi sembra che si muovano sempre più a caso. Ma così stanno le cose e non posso che ringraziarti ulteriormente del tuo interessamento.
Grazie per aver condiviso la tua esperienza di gioco su Splinterlands! È sempre interessante leggere di come gli altri giocatori affrontano le diverse modalità di gioco e le strategie che adottano. Sembra che tu abbia avuto un'esperienza piuttosto positiva nel Modern Format, specialmente con il tuo account alternativo.
