Hey guys,
today I prepared another special photo collection for you.
It´s from a very interesting art exhibition dedicated to ancient art of the Middle and Far East.
The exhibition is hosted at the Wawel Castle in Krakow, Poland and it´s very impressive. You can see exhibits from Turkey, Iran, Caucasus and Crimean in there. The Polish royalty has always been fascinated with Oriental arts and thanks to the ancient trading and business relations, many of these beautiful Oriental arts were transported to Poland in the past centuries.
The Wawel collection includes: carpets, tapestry, gobelins, weapons, shields, saddles, tents, vases, ceramic items, various decorative objects etc.
The most valuable item is probably the ancient saddle set that is decorated with gold and gems. The saddle belonged to Krzysztof Leopold Schaffgotsch, a prominent figure during the Holy Roman Emperor Leopold I. The saddle is believed to have been crafted in Istanbul, Turkey.
Let me now show you some of the pictures that I took at the exhibition. I hope you will like them 🙂
Další parádní report z wawelské výstavy, tentokrát štuka starých Turčíků :D :) Moc hezké fotky :*
