Today I brought a Wild battle, where I was faced against a very good and experienced player in a Guild battle, so it will be interesting to see how it will goes! π€

Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Weak Magic | Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health. |
Target Practice | All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability. |
Even Stevens | Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles. |
The mana cap was 52, which is more than enough for my needs, so I will be able to pick any monster and Summoner that I like where I had to keep in mind the following rulesets. π
The Weak Magic ruleset is not really a difficulty, because it allows all the monsters to use their Armor against the Magic attacks as well, which is nice.
The Target Practice ruleset needs a bit of planning when you are setting up your lineup, because all the Ranged and Magic attack monsters that are not in the first position will try to attack the first Ranged, Magic or Non-Attack monster from the enemy lineup.
The third ruleset will be the Even Stevens, which I think is the worst from this three, because it will allow the use of only the Even mana cost monsters, which means that the available monsters will be only half of what it should be. πͺ
Byzantine Kitty
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lorddiablo/48VF6RjeNGiLGRHuK9gUaNJQofAegV3d2tcVCB6akxgkLRRLS84fgZxEZLb1JBxLfJ.png)
The Byzantine Kitty is an amazing Summoner, because she gives +2 Speed and the Tru Strike ability to all of her monsters, so even though they will have high Speed they won't be able to miss their target. She also has the Tank Heal ability, so she will able to Heal the monster in the first position in every round. π
Diemonshark
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lorddiablo/23tmFZ9NBHKSvtnksWsAsk3T69t6zgAy7wXBdoaRgiYAgbYhm69fYyArVwpFks3T22wja.png)
The Diemonshark is an excellent Water tank, because he has quite a lot of Speed, Damage and Health, which is also an excellent combination with the Enrage ability to increase his stats by 50% if he is damaged. His only weakness is the lack of protective abilites, but if he manages to kill his enemies quick than this would be no problem. π
Rage
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lorddiablo/23u5xjKWxtp4ktJ629825baYiFyivN1nWFGNqFNVjGT9Szf2dxJzdRMZdKoW2emUtozMT.png)
Rage is an absolute beast in the whole game, because he cost 16 mana, which is the highest amongst all the other monsters, but in return he has a lot of Health and Armor on its own. He also has the Flying ability, which will give him extra defense and also the Void ability to protect himself against the enemy Magic attacks if it comes to that. πͺ
Henchling Enforcer
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lorddiablo/23vhqauW6d1Krfv3DqcHQ1xRPysaP2aZj83dHK5aZUbAZpgHeFNBHoSkkKnhqQYyNNNnw.png)
The Henchling Enforcer cost six mana and has two Ranged attack, which is a bit low compared to his stats, but he has an amazing ability, which only has only on another monster and that is the Halving ability. This means if he manages to hit his target he will halves his damage on top of his Ranged damage. π
Flagulon Reine
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lorddiablo/23w2gkKz9sgCV7t8XQScVcWGHxFUQ9oQYTiSjxNG3L1MXGtmqBUjDz3UGFNk291PixkQ7.png)
The Flagulon Reine cost six mana and she is a Magic attack Gladiator monster who has the Bloodlust ability, which means that she will increase her own stats with each kills she makes by one. Luckily she also has the Blast ability to make her more effective, because if she is able to kill with her indirect damage she is able to use her Bloodlust as well. π
Naga Windmaster
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lorddiablo/23uEz8gpHLY62uoy8m5nbxg4mqUyzpVAak7REMYTP9mkNCaosECESWdnFiLvWdvskLD2d.png)
The Naga Windmaster is also a Ranged attack monster who cost only four mana and has two Ranged attack. He also has the Headwinds ability, which means that he will decrease the Ranged attack of all the enemy monsters by one as long as he lives. π€
Ruler of the Seas
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lorddiablo/23vhqavC9rPiymAWnrdnupympL7vKXZZyA6Xxyb392Pj7fh2vCJ2UvGHzqAGjhuBEMJyY.png)
The Ruler of the Seas is simply one of the best monster from the Water Splinter, because he has quite a lot of Magic attack damage, but more importantly he has the Blast ability, which means that he will damage the adjacent monsters of their target with each of his attacks. π
![image.png](https://images.hive.blog/768x0/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/lorddiablo/23tGZdosSHHTDavnnQu9J6NVmcUZ94SXiq2Hwsu74CWxaWwQXFbe4dF7Vz7KXNfr9a9TT.png)
My opponent brought the Pembrook Nymph who is a Water Summoner who gives +1 Health to her friendly monsters and she will be able to use an additional Gladiator monster in her next battle. π
My team was quite speedy thanks to Kitty, so we attacked first, but all of the monsters had a lot of Health on the battlefield, so I had to wait for the next round to acquire our first kill.
In the second their Kraken finally died and all of my monsters started to attack their Cornealus who had a lot of Health and the ability to Heal himself. That is why I have lost one of my Ranged attacker, because their Cornealus was able to sustain quite a lot of damage. Luckily I had two monster who has the Blast ability, so apart from their Cornealus they managed to damage the two adjacent monsters next to him.
In the third round I have lost my Windmaster against their Deeplurker and I had to wait another round to finally kill their Cornealus who took a lot of incoming damage. Sadly at the end of fourth round I have lost my Gladiator monster as well, but at least in the sixth round their Merdhampir also died.
Only two of their monster left in their team, so starting the seventh round my Diemonshark managed to acquire a double kill using his Trample ability, to finish both of them and to secure the win for my team and for my guild. π
I like to help new players π, so if you are just starting this game and you can use my referral link to sign-up and also write me a message on Discord (LordDiablooo#3750), so I will send you 100 DEC and few key cards (delegated for an entire season) to kick off your career in Splinterlands. π
