Hiking with expecting mom. My Actifit Report Card: December 26 2023

I invited a young couple for hike. The are expecting a child to arrive in March. So obviously I would risk taking the mom-to-be on a steep slope with melting snow (see my yesterday’s update to see what we have here due to sudden warming). My plan included a cable car. The young future parents took the ride, while their senior friend (that would be - I am older then their ages combined…) hiked up the peak.

We met at the upper station of the cable car and had coffee at a mountains hut. A short walk around the summit (quite flat, therefore safe) and returned down. Again, they took the cable car, I walked.

I hope the Mom and the Baby are well #aliveandthriving. Perhaps one day the mom will tell her son how “uncle Marcin” took them hiking on a Christmas Day.
