Beta Testing Ono? It's an adventure!!!

There's been a lot of hype and expectation building around the upcoming launch on the Ono platform on EOS. The Chinese version of the app launched a couple of months ago, but those of us not residing in China haven't been able to get our hands on it.... Until now.

So how do you get involved? Well there are some provisos. European Countries are currently disabled from downloading the app, but those of us in the USA are able to get it. That is if you use an Android device. Apparently there are still issues with the iOS version of the app.

You also have to realize this is a pre-release version. There's all sorts of bugs, errors, and mis-steps. Patience is required if you are going to play before the official launch. So if you are down with all that, and still want to play, here's what you need to do.

Head over to the website http://www.ono.chat.
On the home screen hover over "Get Started" then click "Social Network".

On the next screen click on the appropriate device icon. You can try Apple... I don't know anything about how or if that is working. But the Android should come up for you and present a screen with a QR code.

If you have been on a desktop device from to this point, you can scan the QR code with your device to download the app. If you are already on a mobile device, you can just click "download".

The app comes as an apk file, so you will need to have third party permission on in order to download and install the app.

Once you get the app downloaded, you will need to input an Invite Code. You can try my Invite Code which is EU24. Hopefully that will be all you need to get you in. If you can't get in using my code, head over to the English Ono Telegram chat to ask for help: https://t.me/ONOUS

Once you get in, share your QR code in the comments here to be able to add each other as followers on the system. You will want to try to add lots of people here, as the people you are following may be the only English posts you see for quite awhile. Right now, most of the posts are in Chinese, with English posts few and far between.

If you aren't quite ready to be a Beta tester, the global release in the app store will be coming as soon as they get the kinks ironed out. But those who are in now are beginning to earn some ONOT that we will get to keep when the main platform launches, so that's a pretty nifty incentive to be a Beta tester.
