Since I started playing Splinterlands again, I have set one of my main goals in the game to build a card collection, so I won't have to spend money on rent and my life in the game will become easier since I will only need to log in and start my battles.
I also aim to get enough SPS in stake so that I don't need to rent, but this is only a secondary goal at the moment because getting enough SPS to play in the Champion league is much more expensive than building a card collection.
To start my collection, I decided to choose the Chaos Legion edition because it is the cheapest currently and its cards are very useful and powerful in battle. Today I will talk about one of my favorite cards from this edition, this card is Grum Flameblade.

Grum Flameblade is a monster from the fire deck, its attack type is melee and it will be a great ally in defense and also in attack.
The reason Grum Flameblade is a great defense is because he has a large amount of health and armor, so he won't be easily defeated. The reason he's also a great choice for attacking is because his attack power is high, but his attack speed is low, so he'll probably be one of the last monsters to attack in battle, with the exception of battles with the Reverse Speed rule, because in this rule Grum Flameblade will be even more powerful.
Grum Flameblade has 4 abilities and they are: Bloodlust, Void Armor, Void and Giant Killer.

The Bloodlust ability makes Grum Flameblade increase his attack, speed, health and armor by +1 after he defeats a monster. Remember that Grum Flameblade needs to give the final attack to the monster for the Bloodlust ability to be activated.

The Void Armor ability makes Grum Flameblade's armor useful against magical attacks and this means that for a monster with magical attack to cause damage to Grum Flameblade's health it needs to destroy his shield first.

The Void ability makes Grum Flameblade take half damage against magical attacks.

The Giant Killer ability makes Grum Flameblade deal double damage against monsters with 10 or more mana.
One of the reasons I like Grum Flameblade is because he is useful in attack and defense, in addition he can become even stronger with the Bloodlust ability so he is an incredible monster to have in battles, but one of the main reasons I like him is because he is very useful against monsters with magical attack and this is the worst type of monster to face in my opinion, so Grum Flameblade is a perfect card for me except for his low attack speed.
