I've loved plants and animals for as long as I can remember - long before I started school. My mom, dad, sisters and grandparents saw to that. And I'm hardly alone. In this post @metametheus details the history of sacred sexuality in the ancient Chinese and Taoist traditions. It's a fascinating and insightful piece of writing that reflects on sexuality, sacredness, and good health/wellbeing - and we can't wait for Part 2!
3. A Gift of Love by @porters
In this post, @porters gets her romance on! Not only does she detail what it really means to 'say it with flowers', she includes a recipe for a love potion and some really interesting facts about 'viola'. Did you know one of it's alternative names is 'come-cuddle-me'? Isn't that the cutest? She also talks about chocolate as an aphrodesiac - yes please!
4. The Poisonous Promise of Foxgloves by @immarojas

Whilst I'm not an entrant into the contest coz I can't judge my own awesomeness (or humility), I'm a bit of a yoga pusher, and believe it does improve your sex life - if you want to read about it, click here. Plus, I just really wanted to include a kama sutra picture, because sexy.
6. Valentine's Day Love Potion by @maribelquere97
This post includes two very lovely recipes for love potions - the essential oil one sounds particularly lovely!
7. Smoking, Sweating and Dancing for Love: RAISE YOUR HORNS by @yestermorrow
If we were to award a post for the best title, this'd be it! Because horniness on Valentines Day is a must, right? This post mentions cannabis tincture (anyone else at @canna-curate want to expand on this one?), sweat, and playing metal music to get your love horns on. Whatever floats your goat - or your dragons!

This challenge invites you to explore all of the ways that love plays a role in our Natural Medicine journey. Whether this is through plant medicine, lifestyle, inner work, nature, history, tradition or a combination of these things, love has a way of weaving itself into the decisions we make.
This is a beautiful opportunity to get creative because there are countless ways you can approach this challenge including:
- Plants, herbs or roots for heart health or herbal aphrodisiacs for a little libido boost?
- Gorgeous, love filled, nourishing recipes.
- Love spells, charms or cultural traditions and herblore centered around love.
- Love and wellness, self-love, earth love, etc.
