"People tried to strip and then rape me!" - a dream interpretation

The dream

My name is Galit and I am 20 years old. Recently I have been dreaming that people are trying to rape me. Last night I dreamed that people were chasing me, trying to undress and rape me. I wait for the bus and someone is chasing me, trying to undress me and I resist, I cry and he does not care. I arrive at the grocery store and see a lot of sweets and I know that they know my mom. I want to buy the cheapest candy and I ask them to give me credit but I am told that they do not know my mom. I leave and see this guy and I start running and it's night and I'm scared to death. Then I find myself at home in my room and he tries to enter the house and I do not let him and finally, he breaks the door and manages to enter but he can not get into my room. I cry and no one can help me. No one hears me. I'd appreciate it if you could help me.

I have no boyfriend ... and no sexual experience ... I did not experience anything traumatic in my life... There was an event where someone tried to touch me and I did not want but nothing serious ... I do not come from a traditional religious family.

My Interpretation

It seems that your dream is not personal. What do I mean by that?

Apparently, you are a very sensitive girl, not only to the feelings of others but to the delicate energies that hover around us all the time. These energies have different characteristics, some "good" and some "bad." Sometimes they "trace" people whose energetic-bodies are more exposed than others (for example, because their sensitivity) and try to feed themselves from the energy of those people. It sounds dramatic but it does not, because it happens all the time, every night, to almost every person. In your case, because of your sensitivity, you are more aware of it and hence experience the situation intensively. What to do to stop these experiences?

stopping the feeding

Simply - you must consistently remind yourself that you are sovereign of your reality. Only you determine who is allowed to be near you and who is not. No one - no form of energy - can impose himself on you. Remind this to yourself during the day and especially before bedtime. Just before you fall asleep tell yourself, "I'm safe, I'm safe, I'm safe." I believe this will solve the problem, immediately or within a few days, and the dreams will not return.

I understand. Thank you very much. I have another little question, don't my dreams mean that people want to hurt me? Because I used to dream about people trying to rape me, that I was running toward a stairwell somewhere and trying to hide, and then I ran to the bathroom because I needed to pee. Then suddenly I saw my sister and a friend of mine who is a really good close friend.

Someone once said, "The fact that you are paranoid does not mean that you are not being pursued." Look, you are the sovereign of your reality. It is something that you, and every person, must internalize and understand at some point in their life. As long as you give the power to other people to do things to you, hurt you, control you, decide for you etc. etc., you give up your power. Such a state of mind can also be expressed in dreams of the kind that you have described. Dreams reflect a reality that takes place within you. It takes a lot of "time" and "energy" to make that reality a physical reality. But if a person is constantly anxious, afraid that people want to hurt them, that people are chasing them, trying to harm them, etc., then this reality will eventually come true. This is a prophecy that will fulfill itself.

You're right and thank you very much. I decided a few days ago to start a new life, a new chapter in my life and now you added another task towards my self-fulfillment ... not to give up .. to live for myself and not for anyone. I'm not afraid to get hurt or anything because life hurts a lot. Fear is a natural thing. Fear serves as a warning and illuminates our way. I thank you. You made me smile and more optimistic.
