Today was absolutely a beautiful day for my friends and i.
Since it's weekend, my friends and I decided to spend the day at the beach, and it was everything I'd wished for and more.
We arrived at the beach very early, it was my idea to go so early, i wanted to spend enough time at the beach, when i say enough time, i mean spending my whole day on the beach 🏖️. I had so many things like fun games and fun activities, mapped out for me to carry them out.
First things first, we took a dip in the ocean to get refreshed and energized for the day ahead. The water was cool and invigorating, and we spent a good chunk of time splashing around and laughing together.
After our swim, we decided to grab some snacks from our bag pack. We feasted on delicious shawarma, fruit, and pastries, and washed it all down with cold soda, i don't take soda, i had some freshly squeezed orange juice in my bag pack, i decided to drink some of it. With our bellies full, we were ready to take on the day.
Next up, some of my friends decided to try their hands at paddleboarding. They rented a few boards and spent some time learning how to balance and navigate the calm waters. I didn't join them because I was a little scared of the waters
(laugh at me if you want)
As the day wore on, we took a break to soak up some sun and enjoy the view of the Oceans. We chatted, joked, and simply enjoyed each other's company, i was feeling so grateful for the beautiful day and the wonderful friends i was sharing it with.
Later in the afternoon, we decided to play a game of beach volleyball (i wasn't so good at playing) We set up a net, divided into teams, and spent the next hour or so spiking, blocking, and laughing together. Everyone was laughing at how horrible i was playing, i didn't mind, i didn't want to feel left out, i kept playing regardless. It was such a blast, and we all had a great workout to boot.
As the sun began to set, we gathered around and formed a circle in the waters, we played a game and everyone was happy. It was the perfect way to cap off an amazing day at the beach.
As we packed up our belongings and said our goodbyes, we all agreed that it had been one of the best hangouts we've ever had. We had so much fun at the beach today, made some amazing memories, and enjoyed each other's company in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. I'm so grateful for my friends and for the incredible day we shared together at the beach. I think this is the best weekend ever, i had a fulfilled day.
