"So I am only Jacob; and fought with the man until he had the alba"
(Genesis 32:24)

God leads us to the place where can deal with us directly. He calls us to a State of "solitude". He never deals with us in the context and others. Organizations, clubs, groups, all kinds of entanglements, societies and ways of thinking, can keep us away to hear the voice of God as much as they can help us to listen to God's. But when God brings you to deal with the deeper issues of your life. One makes it. Simply put, your God. God and me, each of us alone with God.

Who are you really?
When anyone you are viewing...
When you are not "ready"...
When has camouflage been removed...
When do not have an ego that defend or anything you try...
When don't need to complicate with imitations or prepare you for the position.
Who are you?
All the time this surrounded by people who don't know who are you really...
At any time you can be in situations where you can't do fully you...
Many times you hide who you really are to get you to accept...

You are alone. You will feel isolated, as if you were seeing the person through a glass wall. When God is ready to do His divine surgery on you, He will bring you to a "lonely" place. There are no guests to the operating room. Only God. His work in you is private. When God begins to move in your direction, and begins to make arrangements for your one-on-one meeting with you, you may feel uncomfortable. Actually I think that the first response of almost all of us at that moment is to try to surround ourselves with more and more people. We feel, tiredness, frustration, loneliness in our spirit. We feel a great need to have someone with us, to join us, to walk with us. We soon discover that the presence of others does not satisfy the need. The loneliness and exhaustion that we feel in our spirit is called from God to us. He is leading us to the one-on-one encounter with Him.

You can be surrounded by people ... however, be alone. You can have intimate relationships with your partner ... however, be alone. It is when we admit that we are alone and we need something that nobody can supply, when we need someone to fill a part of us that nobody seems to be able to fill, there is when God intervenes.

When you say that you've been left alone, it means that someone with whom your thought that you have to protect yourself are gone. You feel isolated, separate, apart, alone. When we feel that we have been left alone, however, our hope is that someone will come to comfort us. In fact from our human perspective, we hope that "comfort" is what a loving God would do to a man who has been left alone. However, God says he's not coming to comfort us but to confront us.

God is going to challenge Jacob, to fight with him. Jacob's first reaction was, no doubt, "Oh no, you also"!

All fight against me.
My partner is fighting against me.
My children are fighting against me.
My boss is fighting against me.
My creditors are fighting against me.
My co-workers are fighting against me.
My church is fighting against me.
My own mind is fighting against me.
And now, you also?

The Bible says: "faithful are the wounds of who loves" (Proverbs 27:6). A true friend is one who you "hurts" for good reason. What you say can hurt you, but in the end, this will help you. What he does may seem painful, but in the end, to give him thanks for what he did, because it has been for your sake.

A true friend is not agree with you all the time. No matter how brutally scream, a good friend always you will face and say "these wrong".

You will never receive real help until you are not confronted by someone who tells you what you really need to change in your life. God reaches out to each of us... to confront us and forces us to face our sin... to confront us with our lies... to make us feel uncomfortable in our bad habits... to get us out of our mediocrity... to challenge us to the excellence.
