Leverage does seem handy if you are extreme low on liquidity, but have a high networth. Its just the risk you take that matters.

The reality is nobody knows when unfortunately. I would advise dollar cost averaging or just hold your position for very long so the moment you bought in, had little effect on the net outcome.
