Disclaimer: Please don't get the wrong impression. I'm by no means a liberal. I'm a strong conservative that believes in "Make America Great Again", but I no longer trust Donald Trump.
Donald Trump hasn't been the fiscal conservative, many republicans desired. Since he took office, the public debt has risen by 2.3 Trillion. At the end of January 2016, the month when Trump took office, the total outstanding public debt was 19 Trillion. By the end of July 2018, the total outstanding reached 21.3 Trillion. The math is simple, go to https://www.treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/pd/mspd/mspd.htm and search the numbers for yourself.
During the last 12 months, Donald Trump has accumulated more debt, than Barack Obama for any year, he been in office. Donald trump increased the debt from July 2017 to July 2018, by 1.47 Trillion.
In comparison, Barack Obama increased the debt by
1.29 Trillion in 2010
1.3 Trillion in 2011
1.09 Trillion in 2013

Between July 2017, and July 2018, Trump has increased the debt 14% beyond Barack Obama's worst year in 2011.
When we already owe China trillions, why is Donald trump offering to buy Italy's Debt? How does offering to purchase foreign debt put America first, or help Make America Great Again? When Trump offers to buy Italian debt, he's showing a bad example of fiscal responsibility. He is essentially bailing Italy out for bad decisions, and giving them a free pass to be reckless in the future. We need to put an end to this nonsense, and create international laws demanding fiscal responsibly.
We can't live in a global economy, where one country feels compelled to buy another countries debt. This is some of the worst forms of globalism. When it comes to government, deficit-financing isn't investing. It's stealing money from future generations, so politicians can pay off their cronies, and enjoy the cushy perks.
Whoever owns the debt, acquires undue influence over another counties sovereignty. Why would Donald Trump want to Borrow money from China, so we can buy Italy's debt? Have you every stopped to wonder, why China is funding our debt? In my opinion, it's a deliberate attempt to gain control of our businesses and economy, through subversion. While America used the military industrial complex to become a superpower, China's strategy is to become the world's loan shark. China wants to silence their rivals, by purchasing their debt and infrastructure.

Europe's debt is nuts... so is USA's. I have a hard time registering how anyone has any money to buy anyone's anything. But well, government is bullcrap, and this is how they operate.
I have had debates with fellow conservatives on this, and they believe debt is generous gift. They think deficit financing is a patriotic form of investing. I thought we hated liberals for acting like money grows on trees. It's sad to see the conservatives making the same mistake. The only way we can stop this, is by waking people up, and changing the laws. All levels of government need to be legally required to run surplus-budgets. It's the best way to ensure fiscal responsibility from our politicians.
Without proper finance laws, requiring checks and balances, it will become permanently convenient, to borrow as much as they can.
yep, i always say that this one thing is the reason why government can't be trusted. I worked for 2 US Federal agencies as a project manager and everything we were charged with doing was done in the most expensive and least efficient way possible. No other industry would survive with these tactics.
