Each week here is filled with posts full of captivating scenery, stunning images and great stories. Basically, great travel blogs worth checking out. So If you like to travel (digitally or in real life) #swmchallenge is the place to go.

It's a fun tool made by @blueorgy and @martibis that allows you to pin your posts to a specific location or browse the world map where ideally every place on the map is a Steemit post. #swmchallenge is my attempt to make it more popular and build a community around it.

#1 Snowboarding at Mt Hutt New Zealand
#2 Unique Boat Procession: Romería del Cristo de la Salud en El Palmar
@vcclothing takes us to Mt Hutt where he got to see snow for the first time in his life. He went on to learn snowboarding which was a real adventure. Snowboarding during the day and indulging in food and alcohol during the night, he and his girlfriend had an amazing time.
Next, we join @for91days who takes us to Albufera Natural Park in Spain where he witnessedthe Romería del Cristo, a religious festival that celebrates the pilgrimage of Cristo de la Salud (Christ of Health). The procession begins in front of a church, and proceeds on the lake. Accompanied by music, Christ's statue is placed into a boat and taken out onto the lake, followed by other boats packed with villagers from neighbouring villages.
#3 Frozen To DEATH - My trip to a Japanese Onsen
Finally, @haydae shares a story of the time they almost froze to death on their way to visit a hot spring in Japan. Surviving -20°C without any serious frostbite is quite an accomplishment in my book. Hats off for @haydae!

Wow, seeing snow for the first time and then having the moxie to start snowboarding. Yeah, that takes some major BIG ones lol. Thanks for sharing some of these wonderful places @runicar
