Hello Foodies On Hive 🥰💕
.I know we are all back to work after the beautiful season of celebration 🎉🍾🥂 we all did enjoyed . And I tell you guys there is nothing like when you are in a mood of being just you because you needed a break from work and got one to enjoy yourself.
This past season is one I can’t forget in a hurry because of the opportunity of self care through taking out time to enjoy yourself. And not just enjoying the food 🥘 you want to try out because in places like five (5) star ⭐️ restaurants you will get to meet varieties of exquisite dishes and servings.
This kinds of place is not where we visit everyday but we can during celebration 🎉 periods because life calls for taking care of ourselves and keeping the memories it brings.This restaurant I took out time to visit is located in the high borough area of the city 🌆 , and around the Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria 🏝. And the restaurant “ French Cuisines” by name is a French Settings Restaurant with various kinds of desserts 🍮 and dishes. The only problem here is that their prices are very expensive but comes with good services.
And because it was a pre planned outing, I made sure to order what I like . This very dish is among the exquisite priced dishes in this place, and a serving cost about $7.5. The dish a simple but exotic meal in form of snacks since its not among the main cuisines.
This meal is called “Buttery Yam”, a meal made in form of snacks with Garlic 🧄 and butter 🧈, while the Yam is fried with some mixture of flour and cream to make it crispy and soft. It was indeed enjoyable.
Going to places like this is not just only because of the food but also because of the environment, feelings, mood and those you got to meet with for interaction and introduction. And because sometimes work does not give us time and space to do the things that makes us happy, we tend to miss out from the good things of life which brings peaceful memories.
And most people believes that we must spend so much to stay happy and keep memories, but I tell you that its not how it works. Doing what we like once in while can help us stay going especially if we believe that happiness comes from within.I love that I took out this time during the holidays to visit some good places including this “French Cuisine” that am sharing with you friends 🥰.
Life needs some treats from us even if its once in s while. The memories are everlasting.

I agree with you, within the measured, give yourself this kind of outings when you are someone who appreciates gastronomy is a way to feel loved. I like the way you think about it, so I feel the same way. The place looks quite nice and spacious, the decorations are also abundant hahaha.
I wouldn't have imagined eating that root vegetable in such a way, but thinking about the combination of flavors, no doubt it has to be very good. Now I ask you, was that the only dish you had? Or do you give it all the importance because it's your favorite? I'm just curious hehe.
