Greetings friends! On this sunny autumn day I decided to take a walk around the three lakes in the north of the city. A hundred years ago, the area around the lakes was a holiday village, and a few old wooden cottages have survived to this day. But on the other side of the lakes, the area has long been built up with multi-storey apartment blocks. I reached these lakes by metro, the metro station "The lakes" is located very close, less than 500 metres from the Upper Lake.
The city beach is located on the shore of the Upper Lake. In summer, many people rest and sunbathe here. Swimming is prohibited, the water is considered not clean enough. Part of the beach is landscaped, there are wooden paths, benches and swings. I was very pleased with the swings - but I was immediately disappointed. The beach was crowded on this sunny day and all the swings were occupied.
I walked along the shore, crossed a small isthmus and came to Middle Lake. This is the smallest of the three lakes, but it's where the wakeboarding attraction is. The athlete stands up on the board and holds on tightly to the cable. A winch is used to move the cable in different directions. There are several springboards in the water, and experienced athletes move and jump along rather complicated trajectories. In late autumn this attraction is no longer in operation.
The far side of the bank was occupied by some buildings, and the direct path was closed. I turned sideways to get round the obstacle, turned into an alley, then into the next one, and found myself on the underside of the terrain - there was a narrow path under my feet and some wasteland nearby....
Soon I came out to the suburban railway line. This wasn't in the plans, but I decided to take a chance and expand the theme of my walk a little. I walked to the nearest railway station in the hope of seeing the old station buildings. The railway platform looked modern, but nearby I noticed a single storey brick building with tall arched windows. All the windows and doors of this building were bricked up and it was clear that the building had not been in use for a long time. This building may have once housed station services.
I turned in the opposite direction, and soon came to a third lake. This lake is called the Lower Lake, or the Big Suzdal Lake. The day was coming to an end, the sun was slipping towards sunset. At the end of the walk, I walked along a wooden path that stretches along the southern shore of the lake.

What a great place amazing
Thank you very much!
Very nice walk...and I think those ducks are happy with the water and that humans can't bathe. Who knows maybe even the cats are going to take a dip there. 😂
Ducks reasoning is simple - there is water, so you can swim:) Thank you very much!
