Health update
Test results as expected and I have to see a surgeon next week to get his assessment and most likely schedule surgery,it is a major surgery but strongly recommended to avoid the risk of cancer developing

Recently I saw on farcebook a post about someone walking on a trail called the Mattapoisett Rail trail, which I had thought was a biking path and was not sure if it was also open for walkers, but seeing that post I realized it was the the next morning went to check it out.
It was dark when I got there and I was using my torch initially, and then had the idea to get out my other torch which does colors and try light painting the fence which lead to this first shot

Its a long trail I think I read 4.5 miles and joins up with the Phoenix bike trail in Fairhaven, I am not sure if thats included in the 4.5 Miles or in addition
I only walked a portion of the trail maybe 2 Miles, I was tempted to walk the whole trail, but then it came to me that would be 4.5 miles out and then have to walk it back and that would take me longer than I planned to be out, but I did love the portion of the trail I saw
This next shot is from a similar spot to the first one, it was very misty and foggy that morning, in fact my camera lens was covered in small spots of water from the mist and I had to keep cleaning off the lens between shots

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

Wow, that's an awesome trail! I'd love to bike or walk on that sometime. That's always the kicker isn't it? 5 Miles one way isn't too bad, but then you have to get back to where you started!
it truly is an amazing trail, maybe next year one day when sunrise is earlier I will do the full walk, and still be able to get home before my wife wakes up
Sounds like a great plan. I wish we had something like this closer to where I live. Being able to just bike to it and then go for miles would be awesome. I'd have to get more into biking first though!
Ohh yeah my bike has bene sitting in the garage for a year or more now, I would need to both service it and get some ractice on it before trying to do the bike trails here

I am very happy that the results are optimal for the operation, I hope everything turns out very well.
This walk along these trails are wonderful, the first picture already had an impact on me but then the others were not far behind with so many colours, I love it!

I always enjoy every photograph you share and when you add more details your genius is felt by the viewer. All the photos are wonderful, but you have done a great job with the first one and that red light.
I didn't know anything about your health, I see that it is something serious, but I also understand that you are already working on it, and that is the important thing. I like the light painting on the fences. Good colors in the other photos. I like the first color shot with the mist. Good luck with the surgery. Sounds like you have been mentally preparing yourself for it. Since its not a emergency situation you have a little time to plan any help you need.

Yeah I got the first hint I would need surgery after my colonoscopy three weeks ago, Will be interesting to see what the Surgeon says next week, I would rather get it done sooner than later and over with so hopefully early in the new year, would prefer to hold it off till after christmas and my wifes 70th Birthday
Oh wow, as always beautiful sunset shots and am glad you enjoyed being out in nature. Definitely wishing you the very best in that surgery. Cancer has become a pain in the neck for humanity worldwide, do all you can to get rid of it or avoid it altogether . Am sure everything will be alright and you will be back sharing about the successful surgery, fingers crossed :}

Yesh the dr that did my colonoscopy said base don the genetic tests and my previous colonoscopies, he very much doubts 6 monthly colonoscopies would keep onn top of it nd the chance of getting colon cancer was in the high 90% range, so best to be proactive and have the surgery
