What a fine looking black bear. It's not the black bears I worry about, it's your brown bears (Ursus arctos). It would certainly change my hiking habits if we still had them in SoCal.

How did you capture the sun rays like that, or is that easier to do with high end equipment? Really nice photo! I do a lot of hiking and I think sunrise offers the best light, better than sunset.
