Balls for the lady
I was in the supermarket yesterday when I was reminded of a comment in this post Glam Beer Therapy in Dubrovnik, Croatia from @livinguktaiwan
I find craft beer cans are always very photogenic.
So this grabbed my attention ...
And away she came with me!
Steam Brew Session IPA The Sister and Meatballs
That was the plan, have a couple of these while I made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner.
I have not had this beer before, it is German and is a surprisingly nice and tasty beer...
Funky website
There are six craft beers in the range and we settled on the Sister.
Lore seems to be everywhere and there is no shortage of on the website where the screenshot came from....
Beer is outlawed
No I have not drunk too much!! The lore and backstory was created for these six beers all having their own characters as being esistance fighters in a dystopian steampunk world.
Steam-Brew website
They even have a funky wee video which you can a look at ...
Steam Brew - The Craft Beer Resistance
The Sister
I think she deserves her own selfie ... What do you think?
Let's get the show on the road...
The main ingredients
First things first we need to ...
Let's Oil the Gears of Life
Not too sure how well you can read the logo, it is also on their website.
First things first, let's grab a glass, I think a long tall one is in order...
Courtesy of Scotland and Tennents!
Can you guess the colour, I think it got it pretty close...
Let's go back and see how she describes things...
She says Golden - Yellow ...
But what about the hops?
The exclusive hop variety “Vic Secret” surprises with exotic and tropical, fruity notes.
Answer to the hops then ... is it is the Vic Secret variety!
Exotic & tropical with fruity notes of pineapple and passion fruit as well as pine and pine-tree
I must admit I really enjoyed it, and before I had even finished chopping up the veg ...
The first can was finished, and I was pleasantly surprised.
The next can was poured
Cheers 🍻
Looks like the lady likes alot of head.
Fast forward the cooking and we were done ...
What about the Stats....
- alcohol 4.9% vol.
- plato 11.5° Plato
- IBU Bitter units: 35 IBU
The post I mentioned earlier from LUKT was where I first learnt about IBU the bitterness scale!
It was a great tasty pint that I recommend!
Posting about a beer on a Saturday on the Beer Community ....
It is a whole bunch of fun, so check out The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 382 from the one and only @detlev.
Being Scottish I know how important a part a beer can played in destressing people especially after a hectic few months!
This #BeerSaturday week I would like to invite @caspermoeller89 to share a beer he might be having with us!
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your day!

Never mind the beer, lucky Mrs. T to have a man who enjoys cooking, your spaghetti and meatballs looks very good Ed! Hearty comfort food👌
I agree with LUT, beer cans and even beer bottles are very photogenic!
Have a wonderful weekend Ed!
Thanks Lizzie. Cooking is fun and soothing I think. Mind you it passes quickly when you have a wee tipple. Can't be burning things lol.
Enjoy Sunday :)
Heh, this is literally the cheapest craft beer you can get around here, one supermarket dumps them for like CZK 20 (£ 0.7). Great value for the money, I've never been a huge fan of them, though.
Wow this supermarket had them on sale for almost £2 each! They are ok, but I must admit most of these craft beers are no better than the Home Brew I used to make in University.
give a six pack because looks delicious
Maybe next time yes lol!
I love beer, those you say are very good. Today the day was appropriate to have a few beers, it was very hot. And I took the opportunity and drank them, motivated by your post. I hope you have a great weekend.🤗😀
Oh i hope you enjoyed yours, if it was hot then yes that is a great time to drink some! Thank you and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend too :)
Beer and meatballs are surely the winning combo! There are just some dishes that need beer with it and some go better with wine. I agree with the lady on the balls situation :D
Good label on the beer! So important for the optics because that is the reason you take that one and not another one
