Yes, it is probably better to have some exposure to Bitcoin first, however, I think in the coming years Dash will probably be more practical and useful for real purchases

Bitcoin is not a bad option too for pure hedging. However, I don't anticipate it will be very useful for small and fast retail purchases anytime in the next few years

There is currently no direct off-ramp to go directly from Dash to Fiat. Dash is just starting to gain traction should this should start changing, but for the mean time you need…

Everything can be seen as speculation, even Gold. One point here is that Dash will probably be more practical in the near future than Gold is now
