My Application to Join the Alliance

Three questions for application consideration:

How did you find #thealliance?

I found #thealliance through the recommendation of another member. They felt it would be a great way to connect to others here on Steemit and I agreed. Many of the posts I enjoyed were created by other members of this elite group of people.

Why do you want to be here?

I have seen the content created and curated by other members of #thealliance family and have been excited by the prospect of joining others in the attempt to grow and expand the platform and support each other through that journey.

What qualities do you have that would make you a valued member of the family?

I have a lot of content just sitting in my brain and on my computer waiting to be shared with like-minded individuals: photographs for aesthetic pleasure and stories...about raising children (a handicapable adult daughter with special needs and a son with "normative" behavior), my struggles with depression, anxiety, Bipolar 1 and Multiple Sclerosis and just my take on life in general.

I have a positive perspective on life (most of the time, lol). I am warm and caring. I feel my purpose in life is to inspire love in others, be the best version of myself that I can be and in doing so allow myself and those around me to grow forward with love and kindness. I'm hoping to share that with as many people as possible in as many ways possible. I believe that when we die the way we have touched others in life, creating memories (preferably good ones!) are the only true legacy of our time on earth that survives. I want my legacy to be positive, loving and kind.

To date my daughter (mostly non-verbal) and son think I am the most magical, cheerful and happy influence on their lives and I like it that way. I'm hoping others see that same version of me in my deeds and actions.

I am an Avid Adventurer, Passionate Pursuer, Life Lover, Photographer, Author, Entrepreneur, Dream Chaser... MS Warrior. I am rarer than a Unicorn Quiffe and I want to share that with this family and the family of the world that accepts me as their own!
