We had another food stall visitor in our company again and this it is another different food that this stall sells. They sell siomai, pastel, and juice.
It was almost lunch time that this food stall visited to this place and we rarely had food stall that will go here during this time since it will be lunch time after an hour but most of us were surprised to see the food stall that is in front of our small company.
There were a couple of employees that went to this food stall to buy the food in the stall and most of them bought the chicken pastel and other bought the siomai paired with the spicy flavored sauce.
The siomai has two kinds of flavor one is the beef and the other is the pork but this time, they only had beef flavor because the pork is already sold out.
I love eating siomai most especially the siomai in Chowking with their delicious sauce but I also love eating siomai in the street food just like as this one as well as this pastel. I asked the vendor on the price of the siomai and guess what? the price for the siomai is much more cheaper than I anticipated for the price and it is only 5php or 0.086usd per piece.
It's really as cheap compared to the siomai that sells in my old hometown and the sauce is more spicy than the other sauce that i've tasted before. Also, their chicken pastil is only 10php or 0.17usd. The pastil is also cheap considering the inflation that we had in our country right, it's still cheaper than most of the food stores that sells in my hometown.
I only bought a few of them because I need to eat my lunch for about an hour and when I tasted the siomai, the taste was great considering the price, it's really good for snacks. While I am eating the siomai, I also put more chili sauce on top of the siomai because I like when the siomai is really spicy.
I was satisfied eating the siomai but I can't choose one of my favorite siomao (which is the pork siomai) and I only order on what's on left in his food and that is the beef flavor. Although, I don't really like the flavor but when the siomai is topped with a spicy flavor, it doesn't matter the taste and what it matters is the spiciness of the siomai.
I also took photos from one of my colleagues in my work and she enjoys eating this food which is the pastel, well, I think she loves to eat pastel food just like this one.
Only at that time that the food cart was visiting to our company and after that, it didn't visited again up until today but I am still hoping that the food cart will be visiting again because I will buy their pork flavor of siomai and I'll share it to you the difference of the taste between the pork and the beef flavor.

When this food cart arrive, the siomai and other foods were already cooked and it only needed to reheat for the food to become hot when being served.

STOPI love lunch like this. No drama. Just pure joy of the food affordability plus yeah, waaayy tastier sometimes compared to food stalls found in malls! I love colleagues who are on this kind of food trip too, less picky, more fun, laid-back. Enjoy!
There were some that are tasty for the street food but there were some that aren't good enough. Well, this food cart is really awesome and good. It's also affordable for the price, too.

Hi! I have a high standard for siomai since I also love siomai from Chowking. I think it's the best. It's hard to satisfy my taste buds trying siomai from other vendors, but seeing your pictures made me want to try them too. It's interesting to see the rice wrapped in banana leaves.
You can come here and try their street food in the food cart. The siomai in Chowking is also good paired with their hot sauce. The rice wrapped in banana leaves is called pastel, it's also cheap and way more cheaper than buying one cup of rice in the restaurant or carenderia.

Siomai and pastel is very yummy food to try at the public plaza displayed and all people will loved to buy it and also there is more food to eat and my favorite is siomai and takoyaki with Mango Cream Shake 🥰 . Nice to see people happy eating with the vendors are busy preparing for their orders . After we get our order we are sitting on their reserved chairs for customers.
Wow! that food cart visit was a nice surprise.. Siomai and pastel are two of my favorite Filipino street foods and it's great to see that they're being sold at an affordable price. The photos look delicious especially the siomai with spicy sauce. Im glad you enjoyed the food and the experience. It's always nice to have a break from the usual lunch routine and try something new.

It is so simple yet looks so delicious! I just recently tries chicken pastille last November it was my first time tasting it and I love everything about it. Street foods are really stress reliever in work. I also used to buy some street foods like ngohiong, kwek-kwek and siomai. Though cheap and so affordable, those are really worth the price. So satisfying to read, love to try that foods too in our locality
