Good and Evil are the two great philosophical or moral categories that contain so many concepts, so many words, so many attitudes ...
Are they a binary concept, that is, is there good or bad? It would be the dualistic point of view. Or is it a matter of degrees? It would be the gradualist point of view.
I believe that both approaches are correct, and to understand it we must distinguish between "consciousness" and "conscience", two very similar words but of different meaning.
If we consider this matter as something binary, the voice of Consciousness speaks to us: "to act like that is good", "to act like this is wrong".
If we consider it as something gradual, we are immersed in the process of acquiring "Consciousness", a process that begins when we are born and that continues throughout our existence. In this case, there is nothing contrary to the Good, there are only different degrees of "Consciousness".
Thus, the lack of Consciousness would be equivalent to ignorance due to lack of experience.
However, the lack of Consciousness would be the conscious decision to go in the direction of the bad, negative, and so on. Someone who acts like that is directing his life in an anti-evolutionary, self-destructive way.
On the other hand, a human being that evolves is suppressing the layers of unconsciousness and allows, in this way, to make the "voice of Consciousness" clearer, so that the binary messages - good, bad - that make us arrive are more transparent , better profiled, more help to make decisions in our daily life.
