I had some baby potatoes left unused for a week and so, I thought of planting it.
The other day, I did a little research online and found some steps on how to plant a potato. In the photo above, I cut a bit of the potato and that part should be placed downside on a container with water.
Then placed the toothpicks on both side as its holder so that only the cut part will be submerged or touching on the water. That way will help the potatoes grow some "eyes" or seedlings on the potato itself. It was said that it may take more or less a week to see it starting to grow.
Did the procedure on the three potatoes. Placed it where it can get some sunlight. Not sure if this will be a success using baby potatoes. I just tried to see and I also really wanted to grow some of it even on a pot.
After it will have some eyes or started to grow. It will be transferred into a pot with soil.
