I spent a few days attending classes of exploratory body awareness, they seek through sensations, actions, emotions and movement to take you out of your comfort zone and take you to travel a new world of human sensitivity. For me an almost magical experience of which it is good to remember and raise as a blog.
For the first time I experienced this process of "exploratory Consciousness" I think it's not bad. Moving through space is like one of those moments in which I feel comfortable with myself practicing Parkour, that sensation of water running through a river, dodging, being subtle, going down a path, however they are sensations that came and went according to my level of consciousness and concentration.
Afterwards I started breathing exercises. At first I took it tedious and uncomfortable - I am one of those people who hate to breathe in a sonorous way and here we had to do it specifically - but then when I closed my eyes and blurred in that sound it allowed me to connect with myself, I felt my spatial disposition as well as that of the bodies that were around me, to the point that I could see them in my mind generating one or another movement.
"I think and then I exist, or, I exist and then I can think", a phrase said by Maruma Rodriguez during her tutoring in the activity.
The thought creates ideas, and the existence of ourselves personifies them, but, by fear or by that obstacle that at the same time formulates us the thought we are incapable of exteriorizing them, in a simpler sense we do not give existence to our ideas.
That is why for me, thought and existence go hand in hand in a scale in which daily rises and falls according to the weight that suits each part.
A very nice phrase says "Let's let ideas flow and give way to their existence".
Physical support is a mechanism of which we give so little importance. The human being can do so many things by just moving one of the muscles of his body, and we mainly, who develop as artists should know this.
Expression, movement, thought and perception are elements that we must take into account at every moment, since for example in this exercise we must use them as key tools to feel somehow in freedom and comfort with ourselves.
A sense that we as human beings must maintain in every moment of our lives.
Wandering: "The breeze hit my face, that incessant heat ran through each one of my senses, she touched me softly, we were connected. Who would say? Two strange souls mimicked by the same feeling.
When I saw her, but without seeing, in front of me, her energy radiated a radiance that stimulated me more and more, however the connection became diffuse and the feeling disappeared from my understanding. I had to learn to control myself again or else I would never feel that again.
The way we applied contact today was a way to connect more with myself and in turn with the environment. The sensation of movement from an external source is an excellent way to get to know the people around you. An experience that helps me to understand my body more and more and its forms of expression.
Taste sensation in complete darkness, development of the sense in lack of others. Flavors came to me in waves: peanut, honey, caper, ginger, lemon, parchita...
Entering into this world of sensory abilities, specifically the sense of smell and taste, I could see in a certain way the way in which we do not know how to use our abilities. We were born with many gifts but we are unable to know them.
Going out for a walk for a while and doing the class in an open place like Los Caobos Park is interesting.
" Buzz and vibration were synchronized in a soft and harmonic tone that circulated inside their listeners, buzz wanted to be strong and cause the same sensation that vibration, but as much as it tried its noise became lower and lower, causing the synchrony reached its end and that the listeners created a series of terrifying images of people that surrounded them and covered them with gigantic hands leaving them in darkness. Vibration on his part tried to reach the low tones of buzzing but did not succeed and in turn thought he wanted to be like buzzing, thus causing his listening to have nightmares of the water that covered him to death...".
Listen: water, rivers, buzzes, electricity, air, cars, vibrations, cracks, footsteps, laughs, cries, screams, metals, CONSCIOUSNESS.
In turn then observe the movement of everything around me, I do not know what to say about it.
Putting into practice movements of past classes together with that sense of wanting but knowing the personal distance, this exercise was for me that moment in which you must give something of yourself to someone but at the same time without giving everything, an exercise in which the ground is my friend and I must love it but at the same time reject it so as not to become a "mellow" being.
We also do a second exercise of observing and remembering what we perceive is a very gratifying experience that serves or reminds me of the way I usually look closely at someone or something that I consider important or a necessary life experience.
In this class we work with what is the scapula. For me I tried to perceive the reactions and contractions of the body before the external touch towards that part so close to the spinal column of my body.
Somehow - depending on what part of the bone they touched - I could feel feelings like hatred, sadness or happiness, being a bone that is in an area as full of direct connections that go up to the brain as the back is, it brought out some muscular memory afloat.
Professor Maruma explained about the body parts and the pelvic waist, something interesting although my memory did not record it at all.
We did some team activities and for some strange reason we all laughed, there was some good vibe in class, maybe it wasn't hot. At this point is that you observe certain classmates being looser with that move. That's good. Note: the teacher wanted me to lie down.
We closed the sessions with an exhibition on the parts of the human body, in my case exposing on the eye is something I really liked very much, I discovered certain things that I did not know such as for example those who affect mostly color blindness and myopia depending on whether you are male for the first and female for the second. I really believe that knowing the different parts, functions and capacities of our senses or rather our body is something that we must take into account and more in this artistic world because if we don't know each other, who will do it for us?
There is one question that I keep open, but there are no days in which to discuss it more than with myself: If we had to live without one of our five senses, what would we discard?
For me I believe that I could live without smell, to some extent it would affect my sense of taste but, there is nothing like seeing, hearing and feeling with the body the things that life gives you...
Consciousness. What would you throw away?
In life we must look for things that make us feel good and more when our senses feel unbalanced. Blogs, although they may seem like a diary of very simple and everyday things, tend to help us to know each other better: ailments, illnesses, sadness, happiness, sensations; anything can be described in your diary as a very deep thought of yourself. I invite you to adopt this method as a diary at some time and start to become aware of yourself, aware of your reality.

If I had to choose a sense to live without, it would probably be smell/taste as well. That, or hearing, but I think losing hearing would make life a lot more inconvenient. I know I need sight for my occupation, and I would probably injure myself constantly if I didn't have the sense of touch, lol.
