While she is small, she add years to their age, try on mother's dresses and shoes when no one sees, put on cosmetics and, consciously or not, try to be like mom.
Then comes the time of trials, teenage rebellions and revolutions, and the mother becomes the antipode.
Mother tries to protect and preserve. Be careful not to scare away. Learn to respect personal boundaries. Learn to overcome fear and begin to trust. Patiently waiting for the storm to subside. Missing children's frankness and hugs.
But that also passes, and then..... Then she learns what it's like to be herself, and a little like a person whom her mother whould like her to be. A girl, in a word.
Sometimes I learn from her. I learn back things that I actually once knew, a long time ago, maybe even a couple of years. And then this skill somehow disappeared under a layer of worries.
She had birthday yesterday. When she was a kid, she dreamed about gifts and a lot of snow.
Now she is a grown up. I last see her on October 8th, on a day of her wedding ceremony. All these photos were taken on that day. They are so lovely, and I just want to share my precious memories with you.
It's been such a long time, and I miss her so much. She and her husbad work so hard, and are so busy. And I wish I could be there to help, or just to hug, when she's sad or tired.
Her best wish this year is peace, and me to come for Christmas. And you know, this is my greatest wish too.

When I read about the stages and changes your little girl went through growing up, it reminded me of my own child. I wish I could turn back time...

I asked myself all the time - what future would she have if I'd be a better mother? I was constantly tormented by remorse. I stopped it just recently, when I realized that she became a very good person.
There are lots of what we could do better, sometimes we do mistakes and learn from them. One day I told my daughter about all my concerns, and I said I am sorry for that. Since then, I feel better.😉
This is proof that you, parents, are good people. Children are influenced, in most cases, by the way their parents are. They've been watching us even when we haven't noticed...
I believe that and that's my hope.

I have followed the tradition of celebrating Christmas with my whole family all my life. But even if we have to celebrate separately, we will get through it. Many Ukrainians will be celebrating apart from their families this year (or didn't have a chance to celebrate). Refugees, soldiers, volunteers. At least we have warmth and a roof over our heads. This is a lot by today's standards.

Also to say I had to reset my phone and lost the draft of the dance video. Yep. Had to resort to using the phone to get it done. We make a plan, right? But then downloaded some malware when I was adding the tunes and rest the phone.
