What exactly would a Steem Ambassador do exactly?
I am somewhat new so I don't know all these things yet. Some of the Drama you have mentioned I have seen and overall, I think that is a good thing. Drama existing means that there exists parties who care enough to get flustered over something.
I just started using Steemit, but I want Steemit to grow so that staying here adds value to my life, not end up becoming a burden or a hinderance.

I think drama - to a certain level - can be even productive... it's like a thunderstorm. Afterwards the air's much cleaner :-)
Well I'd like to refer to the following page: https://promo-steem.com/ambassadors and furthermore add that in my opinion a representative of Steem is one that builds a bridge between the Steem community and other (local) communities, groups, networks, people. An ambassador represents the brand and its values and helps it to grow.
Thanks for the warm welcoming. I have been using these past few weeks to the best of my abilities and there is much more to come.
Drama, stress and uncomfortable situations are what allows us and our creations to grow. That being said, not all sources of drama and stress are productive, but let us leave that to the side for now.
Looked over the page quickly. I could do that, but I haven't been around here long enough and lack a lot of knowledge to do the part, so I really should let someone else do that. You seem nice enough, bring the passion and the experience.

Well everything at its time... Most of the time we can't go from zero to hero, and the things worth having don't come easy. Be patient and consistent - then you'll be able to come very far on Steemit :-)
