According to Britannica, evolution is a process of continuous change from a lower, simpler, or worse to a higher, more complex, or better state. It went further to explain evolution as the process of working out or developing; the historical development of a biological group (as a race or species) and a theory that the various types of animals and plants have their origin in other preexisting types and that the distinguishable differences are due to modifications in successive generations.
Science believes that, years ago before Christ [BC], there used to be both animals and plants of different species. These living things were very competitive and aggressive among themselves. They were made up of carnivore, herbivores and omnivores like present day animals.
Among these animals are specie known as the greatest and strongest predators to ever walk on planet earth. They are called dinosaurs; they first appeared in the Middle Triassic Period or Jurassic period, about 240 million years ago and thrived worldwide for some 175 million years. Most died out by the end of the Cretaceous Period, about 65.5 million years ago, but many lines of evidence now show that one lineage evolved into birds about 150 million years ago.
BRACHISAURUS DINODAURS
Though not all dinosaurs are carnivores but even those that are not, can still be dangerous like Brachiosaurus who is an herbivore but the largest dinosaur to ever walk on the planet and possibly the largest animal to ever walk on the planet.
T-REX AND TRICERAPTORS
The greatest predator called Tyrannosaurus [T- rex] to walk the surface of the earth existed during this period, with a greater hunting strength, capability, intelligence and precision than lion and tiger combined together.
These dinosaurs are not mammals nor are they any type of animal but have some the animal know in present day to man. It is believed that some species of animal in this age have their origin from dinosaurs. Yes, what I am saying is that, they are ancestors of some animals known to man now; example ichthyosaur and Elasmosaurus are believed to be the ancestor of most aquatic animals
ichthyosaur
Elasmosaurus
and pterosaurs are believed to be ancestors of birds and most air animals.
pterosaurs.
Thank you for reading through part 1, expect part 2 soon as we would be talking about cat animals like lions, cat, tiger, leopard, cheetah and jaguar and other animals.
