A friend recommended me an #anime: Death Parade. They told nothing about it. So I told myself: "well, let's see what is it" and I launched it on Netflix. As soon as I finished the first episod, I found it really interesting!

Synopsis

Everyday in Quindecim pub, two people get in without knowing how they got here. Decim, the bartender, and her amnesiac sidekick, invite them to play a deadly game. Darts, bowling, arcade game,... it changes every time. But during that game, they will be judged on the darkness of their souls...

My point of view [CAN SPOIL]

It's a really interesting and poetic anime! Many metaphorical aspects! There are many religious references, and a representation of almost all beliefs about the death.
The story is also very beautiful! Even if the dead characters are developed in only one episod, you have the time to appreciate them and their stories make them appealing. To be honest, I cried, internally*, at the end of an episod, where one of the characters had a death by suicide. The end of that episod is so moving. And the last episod is also extremely moving.
All main characters, which are present during all the serie, are interesting, have a good development/evolution and are confronted to issues that makes them change.
And an important thing: this anime talks about the unfair Justice. The fact that Justice can be wrong, arbitrary, and the consequences are horrible. The justice system described in this serie is based on human -socially constructed- morals. And that makes you question about "what is a good person". In an episod, you can be affected by a murderer opposed to an inspector who proves to be an horrible person.

*I'm unable to cry. So I prefer to say that I cry internally.
