The autoimmune disease is possibly also an expression of your mental conflict in which the pent-up aggression inside you as a result of mental trauma cannot be directed outwards and instead is directed against yourself.
On the other hand, many autoimmune diseases also have a tangible medical cause and the soul is "only" a cofactor.
It would certainly be worth considering whether a local psychotherapist you trust can help you cope with the burden resulting from the autoimmune disease, provided that no organic cause can be found for your physical and mental symptoms.
