I joined Steem mainly for the artistic factor. It takes time away from art to publish art.. so it's a love/hate relationship in other areas of the internet - but learning that your art and social interactions online generate a value is what made me jump on board without a second thought. This is more than just a value mine like a cryptocoine, this is tangible artistic value - on a blockchain with a lot of social networks to boot. It can, will and should only grow.
I see huge potential.
